Crema's Take

Nestled inside a bike shop, Trailhead Coffee radiates that genuine trail-town warmth where lovely baristas pull consistently excellent espresso and craft creative drinks like their signature Raspberry Espresso Lemonade. The relaxed, intimate atmosphere—with just a handful of seats at the bar and window counter—feels less like a coffee destination and more like stumbling onto a beloved local secret, the kind of place that makes the effort to find it completely worth it.

Very good espresso. In a world of bitter beans… a cup worth traveling for. It took effort to find it… my map and my Lime did not coordinate from my hotel. An autumn chill in the fingers it felt good to hold the warm ceramic cup. They have both paper and glass. Music not loud. Women behind the counter polite and fast. It seems this shop is in a bike store thus the name Trailhead, I guess. I am eating an excellent oat cookie and someone else ordered quiche. No menu really. There are soft, tiny views.

trailhead is my favorite place to get coffee in northern kentucky. the baristas are all so lovely, their coffee is consistently wonderful, and the atmosphere, whether ordering from the outside window or inside, is fun!

Cool coffee nook inside a bike and repair shop. Great flavors. I had a Raspberry Espresso Lemonade. Seats 4 at bar + 4 at table + a window / sidewalk counter. All good, no complaints.

I spent nine months working on the Appalachian Trail, traveling between different trail towns and chatting with hikers. Trailhead Coffee takes me back to those days. It feels very much like the kind of place in a trail town that a bunch of hikers would hang out. Great drinks at decent prices, with the ambiance of an active bike shop, the repair bay serves as some excellent entertainment. Not much seating though, it's definitely a good place to hang out on a Saturday morning
