Crema's Take

Little Jaye is a cozy Seattle spot where Dolly & Tony craft some seriously impressive sandwiches and pastries that punch well above typical coffee shop fare—the savory breakfast biscuits and overstuffed donuts are clear standouts that keep people coming back. The vibe here splits nicely between quick-grab energy and slow-sit comfort, with generous portions and quality ingredients that genuinely surprise visitors who expected something more ordinary. It's the kind of place where a simple Caesar wrap becomes memorable and a buttermilk biscuit feels like the real deal.

Under the gaze of Dolly & Tony, Little Jaye serves up some of the most delicious sandwiches and pastries in the city. Whether it's the savory breakfast sammies, the overstuffed donuts, the sprinkle cookies, or the myriad other delicacies under the glass, I am constantly blown away when I visit. Show up patient and hungry - I'm definitely not alone loving them as proven by the line. But don't worry! They move fast, and the wait is always worth it!

Got excited to visit this place from the viral posts. The salted buttermilk biscuit I ordered was cold and tasted pretty okay. They did not have the Vanilla cream Shokupan doughnuts, only had the tiramisu ones . Only saving grace was the vegwich was served hot and replacing the standard biscuit with Jalapeño Cheddar biscuit made it a lot better

The portions at Little Jaye are large and I think the savory items (biscuits, sandwiches, plated meals, etc) are their standouts. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and I enjoyed the new blood orange loaf and shokupan. The coffee was tasty and I enjoyed the house-made syrup. The shop can get busy on weekends so try to arrive early or at off-peak times to get a seat.

The food here is insanely good, I wouldn't have expected it honestly. I got a chicken caesar wrap thinking how good can a caesar wrap really be..... But I learned they can in fact be amazing !? Their fries were also so tasty and they gave me so many. Unfortunately I feel like their baked items are really not that good. I got their donut and the cream had a weird texture. I actually didn't finish it, took the rest home, and never bothered eating the leftovers because it just seemed unappetizing. Would come again for food and vibes, but pass on baked goods next time.

Saw this spot on the socials and just knew we had to try the ruffle rice crispy but unfortunately it did disappoint. Not enough salt, not crunchy and just lacked the vibe. We also tried the vanilla crème donut which too unfortunately had little flavor. But the chocolate crinkle cookie was okay! My husband ordered the cereal milk latte with the fruity pebbles milk, he liked it but as expected as sweet. The chai tea latte unfortunately lacked flavor as well and was more a hot cup of water than ran by a chai tea bag :( if this is local to you, stop by and see but I won’t be driving out of the way for it again. Happy munching!
