HASS Kitchen

Crema's Take
“Tucked on a bustling University Avenue stretch, HASS Kitchen is a tight-knit spot where you can watch chefs work their magic just behind the counter, creating standout dishes like their legendary French Toast with fresh fruit and creative signature lattes like the Toasted Marshmallow. The sourdough bread and eggs benedict earn serious praise, and the genuinely warm staff makes everyone feel like family despite the cozy, crowded quarters. Come hungry and ready to linger over breakfast or specialty coffee in a place that prioritizes quality food and real hospitality over space and elbow room.”

Incredible food, and great service from everyone, they were all super nice. Their sourdough bread is out of this world. The eggs benedict and french toast sticks were on point. Don't forget to grab a specialty latte, like the toasted marshmallow or tiramisu.
A smallish restaurant on University with great food. I had the Haas French Toast with a hot Toasted Marshmallow Latte. Two large pieces of toast covered with avocado and cut fruit (strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, etc). A little pricey, but you get the value in how well the food is prepared and the very fresh and abundant ingredients. My wife had the T.A.B.L.E. Sandwich. It came with fried avocado pieces!
The setup here is a bit unusual and the space is tight, but the food is really good. You can see the chefs cooking right behind the counter. It does get pretty crowded with limited seating. Water is self-serve and you order at the counter, but they bring the food out. They forgot my avocado fries at first but fixed it quickly. A little cramped and slightly pricey, but the quality definitely makes up for it.
Cute place, but needs to manage their crowd better. The line was crazy long and the waitresses were yelling at everyone to move out of the way as they carried hot drinks past everyone. Food is good. However, given the crowd issues, I would recommend other places before this.
Great place! Loved the store presentation, customer service and quality of the meal. Staff was super welcoming. I had the HASS French Toast. Topped with fruits, it is a very sweet plate. I wished I had ordered a side of something salty to balance it out. But hands down, delicious! Had this meal with a lemonade and it was around $25. Personally a bit pricy, but again, quality of food is outstanding.
