Benjamin French Bakery Cafe
716 E Washington St, Orlando, FL
Crema's Take
“Benjamin French Bakery Cafe is a welcoming neighborhood spot where you can linger over coffee and pastries while your dog relaxes by your side, thanks to their dog-friendly policy and genuinely friendly staff. The French pastries are the real draw—croissants and other sweets that justify a slightly higher price point—and regulars clearly make this their weekly ritual, suggesting it's earned its reputation as a reliable meeting place for both planned hangouts and chance discoveries.”

It’s always exciting when forced to lunch in a new area and you luck into making a new discovery. Needing to bide my time before a hastily arranged appointment, I decided to treat myself to lunch, and wanted something g fresh and different. Thankfully Benjamin French Bakery & Cafe was nearby. I enjoyed a lovely Bordeaux sandwich, a fruit tart, and an Americano. All were exceedingly delicious and enjoyable. Highly recommended.
Just came in for a chocolate croissant. Over $5 for a croissant. It's more expensive than ordering a bagel. Definitely splurge 3 more dollars and get a whole sandwich. Not enough chocolate inside, but that's me. Happy eating, my people.
it’s a nice little café. Staff seems friendly enough one to choose for breakfast or for lunch bathroom you do need a code to get into Sim. Seating can be limited depending on how busy they might be outdoor seating is also available. I had the bagel and creme cheese it was good and bagel was soft not hard which was great. My wife had the mushroom quiche and salad which she enjoyed. Fresh OJ and an Americano to top of off.
We had a nice experience here! It's not in my top Orlando coffee shops, but it is cute. The food and sweets looked amazing, the service was friendly, place was clean.. not too much to say other than it was a pleasant experience.
