Uptown Koffee and Kafe
2700 Milton Way, Puyallup, WA
Crema's Take
“Uptown Koffee and Kafe strikes that sweet spot between a serious neighborhood café and a welcoming gathering place, where the Aussie chicken sandwich has earned genuine devotion from regulars and the freshly made pastries and creative signature desserts (like their standout pumpkin cup creation) keep people coming back. The spacious, parking-friendly location in Puyallup makes it easy to linger over breakfast or lunch, and whether you're pulling through the drive-thru or settling in for an unhurried sit, you'll find the kind of genuine hospitality that makes a coffee shop feel like a local institution rather than just a pit stop.”

The good. Good food. Great ambience. The bad. None at this time We had a couple of sandwiches with fries. The Aussie was excellent. I would go as far as calling this a signature dish. The croissant was good, comparable to other good places, but not one I would come back for. That honor is saved for the Aussie. The desserts looked amazing but we didn't have room for that... we will leave it to a future visit. The ambience was a mix of modern and cottage... weird but very cozy. This is one nice place, I wish I had find it earlier.
As someone who spends time exploring local cafés and restaurants, I’ve learned to appreciate places that consistently deliver both quality food and genuine hospitality. Uptown Koffee and Kafe is one of those spots that gets both right, every single time. Service Experience: Their customer service is truly exceptional and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. No request seems too big or too complicated. Even when I customize orders in ways that might make other kitchens hesitate. I’ve asked for things like piling every available meat onto their BYOB sandwich, and they handle it cheerfully and without hesitation. That kind of attitude makes guests feel valued, not inconvenient. Food Quality: The food itself never disappoints. Everything I’ve ordered has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and meals always arrive hot and freshly made. Their dessert selection deserves special recognition as well. They regularly offer specials that are outstanding, but you’ll want to arrive early because the best desert items often sell out quickly. Final Take: Uptown Koffee and Kafe is the kind of place that easily becomes part of your regular routine. Between the warm, welcoming service and a menu full of satisfying, well-prepared food and drinks, it’s hard to leave disappointed. If you enjoy supporting great local businesses and appreciate a café that consistently delivers, this is a spot worth visiting and revisiting often.
Would have been a five star. The pumpkin dessert in the cup was really good I enjoyed that one but I only took a bite of the Reese cheese cake and it was a little too thick for me but after one bite I found 4 pieces of hair in it. Other then that I would recommend trying them out
Been driving past for a few months and finally stopped through the drive through. Service was extremely friendly, everything was made fresh. Ordered the breakfast burritos with spam, and the country sausage gravy burrito both were diabolically good. Their smoothie and coffee was also amazing. Can't wait to be back!
I went on a Thursday around 1pm. First time there. They have parking and a drive through. I went in. They look to have many things I'd like to try eating but went with the Aussie Chicken Sandwich and it taste great. My only complaint on the Sandwich is that the bread was not toasted enough because the sauce made it a little soggy which made me pick it apart instead of eating it properly. However the flavor was there. I'd just suggest asking for very toasted bread. I also purchased a couple rice crispy treats and a Apply coffee cake. Both tasted great. There was no wait and the atmosphere was great. It's a beautiful place and the staff was very friendly. Their appetizers are Dine In Only which was a disappointment cause I would have liked to take some with me. I'll be back to try some other items in the future.
