Crema's Take
“Tucked inside StoneBridge Church, this beloved neighborhood gem serves locally roasted coffee and fresh-baked pastries in a thoughtfully designed space where parents can actually relax over a quality cup while kids play safely in dedicated indoor and outdoor areas. The seasonal specialty lattes are genuinely delicious, the service is warm and unhurried, and everything from the bathrooms to the tables reflects a real care for creating a welcoming, family-friendly third space that feels more like a secret treasure than a typical church café.”

The perfect place to have a coffee while kiddos can play in a play area! I love to come here with my husband. We can get a little coffee date together while our kiddos play!
🌟 HIDDEN GEM ALERT: The Commons Coffee Shop at StoneBridge Church (Omaha Campus) 🌟 I almost don't want to post this because I want to keep it all to myself — but The Commons Coffee Shop is too good not to share. Tucked inside StoneBridge Church, this place is way more than a coffee counter. It's a dream hangout for small groups, moms with little ones, and homeschool families looking for a field trip destination, somewhere peaceful and practical. ☕ Coffee + Comfort The drinks are solid (classic lattes, seasonal flavors, and even London Fogs), and the breakfast burritos? Legit delicious. They also carry a wide range of snacks — perfect if you’re trying to keep kids from melting down mid-morning. Fresh baked goods include gluten-free and vegan options too — major win. Baristas are the sweetest! 🧸 Kid-Friendly Heaven Two words: THE SILO. It’s a multi-level indoor play area (yes, indoors!) that keeps kids climbing and sliding while you sit nearby with coffee and conversation with friends. There is ample running space on well-maintained grass. Add in the giant outdoor upper playground with picnic tables, climbing equipment, swings and a wood fence game pit. They even have a fenced toddler zone in front! You’ve got a full morning covered. Oh, and there’s even a climbing rock out front for the brave ones! 💺 So Much Space to Gather Whether you’re doing a Bible study, meeting friends, or just needing a change of scenery with your kiddos — there’s space for everyone. From big cozy couches and quiet meeting corners to bar seating, outdoor lounge furniture, and sunny café tables — you’ll find your vibe. There’s even a fireplace nook and a “Welcome Home” area that can fit 15–20 people for a casual meetup and study groups. 🚻 Clean + Convenient Bathrooms are spotless. Like—actually clean. There's a nursing room for moms, water fountains right by the doors to the play area, and plenty of signage so you’re never lost. Bonus: ample trash cans (homeschool moms, IYKYK). 🚗 Easy Parking + Perks Huge parking lots on both sides (east and west), and get this — one lot opens up right next to a fenced dog park. So yes, even your fur baby is welcome. Plus, the outdoor patio has café tables, umbrellas, grassy hills for rolling, and a fire pit for chilly mornings. 🎯 Final Word It’s peaceful, purpose-filled, and perfectly equipped for real life. Whether you're planning a group meetup or just want a sanity-saving morning out with the kids, The Commons is a beautiful place to recharge, connect, and enjoy community.
First time visit. Pros: Specialty seasonal latte was delicious, table was clean, bathrooms are super clean, nicely decorated, kid friendly atmosphere. Cons: I prefer an adult-only clientele, felt like I was in the middle of a daycare, very crowded w/kids running and at times screaming while playing(they have an indoor playing area), toys spread out on floor. Appeared to be moms, daycare owners, homeschoolers. That made things less relaxing for me, and seating very limited. I'd say more ideal for parents needing a break to socialize along with their kids having a safe indoor space to play. If I return, I'll get my coffee to go.
The coffee was delicious! I liked the fall seasonal menu and they offer snacks to purchase for kids. The service was kind, welcoming, and friendly - only 1 worker and it was pretty busy. Atmosphere is nice- perfect spot for mothers to meet up to chat & relax while the kids play. My 3 year old absolutely loved the outdoor playground. We will be back!
My favorite coffee shop! Kids are welcome and there are indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Locally roasted coffee and local baked goods!
