Crema's Take
“This Orlando spot shines brightest for its standout staff who genuinely elevate the experience—Juan and Maria clearly know their drinks and menu inside out, making them worth specifically requesting. Beyond the reliable traditional offerings, they're experimenting with creative seasonal specials like their vibrant Elixir of Pride, showing a willingness to have fun with their cocktail program while keeping things approachable for casual diners and hotel guests alike.”

I have dined at this establishment on three separate occasions during my stay at the hotel. On each visit, I was charged an automatic 18% gratuity. During my first visit, I was part of a party of two. Unfortunately, I did not thoroughly review my receipt and mistakenly added an additional 20% tip on top of the automatic gratuity. While that error was my responsibility, I did not dispute it at the time because the service provided by the first waitress was truly impeccable. The food itself was good, however they are on the expensive side. My second experience, however, was significantly less satisfactory. The service was extremely slow, and the waitress was inattentive and unprofessional. Because of this, I was mindful of what I intended to tip, as I typically leave no more than 10% when service does not meet acceptable standards. I was therefore shocked to see that an automatic 18% gratuity had already been applied. The menu states that an automatic gratuity is charged for parties of six or more, which did not apply to my situation. Under Florida law, any automatic gratuity or service charge must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed to customers prior to ordering. Automatic gratuities cannot be implied or inconsistently applied. If a gratuity is mandatory, it must be openly stated so customers can make an informed decision before dining. What upset me the most was being charged an 18% gratuity on a to-go order that I personally called in and picked up downstairs. No table service or room service was provided. It is not the customer’s responsibility to subsidize employee wages through undisclosed or unjustified automatic charges. Tipping is meant to reflect service received, not to be imposed regardless of circumstances. The current tipping practices at this establishment are excessive and misleading. Due to the lack of transparency and inappropriate application of automatic gratuities, I am compelled to leave this restaurant a one-star review. This experience was unacceptable.
Came in and ordered the cauliflower dish and a hamburger with bbq sauce. The appitizer was excellent. The bar drinks pour was very conservative. I do recommend this place.
I went there a few days ago and Juan helped me and it was incredible! He helped me choose what I wanted to order and treated me super well, highly recommended. If you go ask for him!!
They are doing a cool special drink for Pride month, the Elixir of Pride. It is a fruity tequila vodka drink that comes out with a rainbow-ish layered effect.
Maria is very wonderful, she is very personable and knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. She is definitely an asset to this company and she is one of your bright shining stars.
