Crema's Take

Paradise Cafe in Key West is a warmly welcoming spot where the staff genuinely goes the extra mile—they'll happily accommodate dietary restrictions and make you feel at home—while serving up authentic, homemade fare like perfectly fried plantains, huevos rancheros, and tacos that taste like someone's grandmother is in the kitchen. With a 4.8-star rating and regulars who can't stay away, this is the kind of place where breakfast on a whim turns into planning your next visit before you even leave.

We stopped here for lunch and had a really great time. The staff was super helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate my wife's gluten and dairy allergies and made her feel really good about the experience. The food was great! We both had the Cuban mix and it was stellar. The customer service was excellent and all around we had a great time here!

Second time here within a few days and AMAZING once again! We ordered the chicken burrito (x2), chicken tacos, shrimp fajitas and steak fajitas, ALL WERE DELICIOUS! Black beans were forgotten in one of the chicken burritos but they gave us another one for free, we did not ask, and without hesitation. Would highly recommend and we will be back again! Breakfast is also a must try!

Absolutely incredible, authentic food. 10/10 will definitely be back! We had the Plantains which were so sweet and fried perfectly. Huevos Rancheros and Tostadas Chapinas for breakfast and I cannot say anything but AMAZING. Definitely give this place a try!!

I rarely leave a restaurant and immediately plan my next visit, but Paradise Cafe managed to do just that. I came in for breakfast on a whim and loved the experience so much that I was back the very next morning. This is the kind of local spot that instantly feels like a beloved favorite. The main event, and the item that truly justifies the immediate return trip, is the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. It is, without a doubt, the reigning supreme breakfast item on the menu—a perfect blend of spicy, savory chorizo, fluffy eggs, and excellent fixings, all wrapped up flawlessly. On our two visits, we also sampled the Huevos Rancheros and the Steak Burrito, both of which were fantastic and well-executed. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. Beyond the incredible food, the atmosphere is charming and welcoming. We especially loved the cute, rustic seating area out back; it's the perfect little hidden oasis to start your day. The entire experience is rounded out by the staff, who were incredibly sweet and attentive. If you're looking for a hearty, high-quality breakfast served in a beautiful setting, do yourself a favor and stop by Paradise Cafe. Just be warned: you might find yourself going back the next day, too!

Outstanding! One of my most favorite taco spots in southern Florida! So delicious, home made, and satisfying. Highly recommend!
