The Hide Room Coffee

Crema's Take

Tucked inside a barber shop in Burbank, The Hide Room serves Guatemala-sourced coffee with genuine care—the baristas are knowledgeable and welcoming, and every drink receives careful attention to flavor. Their cold brew comes in two distinct profiles (caramel-forward or otherwise), and the espresso-focused menu rewards those who linger and appreciate the craft behind each pour. It's a small, fragrant space where the owner's personal connection to their Guatemalan coffee source shines through in every cup, though be prepared for specialty pricing that reflects their quality-first approach.

A small yet fragrant coffee shop. Congratulations to the owner as the aromas, flavors and even the attention that the baristas pay to each drink are worth your effort. I would give more stars if I could, so instead I'll just be back soon.

I didn’t expect the coffee shop to be inside of a barber shop haha but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their cold brew. They had two options for it, one with a more caramel tone and one that was more chocolatey. I went with the former and it was great.

The baristas here are super sweet and welcoming, and they really know their coffee. Everything is sourced directly from a small farm in Guatemala, where the owner and his family are from. Honestly, it’s by far the best coffee I’ve ever had. No jitters, no crash! I only learned why after visiting the shop: high-quality specialty Arabica beans and proper brewing, not cheap Robusta or mass-produced Arabica. You learn something new everyday! 🫘 🤯 The shop is small which I honestly kind of love. Regardless of size, it more than makes up for it with incredible service and amazing coffee. I’ve tried the pour over, cold brew, espressos, and several signature drinks, not one has let me down. It’s become my go-to spot to bring both clients and friends. It’s feels like a genuine hidden gem! If you want a taste of Guatemalan heaven in a cup, and some of the best coffee you’ll ever have, do yourself a favor and check it out! . ☕️ You can grab a bag of beans too if you want to save some money, but honestly, I’d still rather pay these prices than go anywhere near a Starbucks ever again. No more jitters or crashes for me, I’m good! 😂🤣

Very clean store with good coffee but I got a little sticker shock. Didn't expect to be charged 50 cents for a splash of half and half, which pushed the cost of my Americano over $6. There's some comfortable seating inside the small shop but just an L-shaped bench. They have a table and chairs with an umbrella outside but Victory Blvd has a lot of car traffic. I don't think I'd go back soon because of the high cost.

The Hidden Room Barber & Coffee is a gem! The customer service was excellent—everyone was welcoming and attentive. The coffee was amazing, and I love that the beans are sourced from Guatemala, giving it a rich and authentic flavor. The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, and we especially loved the seating area. Being able to sit outside with our dog while enjoying a delicious pastry and coffee made the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back!
