Crema's Take

Spud's Coffee brings a modern, cozy energy to Fort Lauderdale where the real magic happens beyond the espresso machine. Their breakfast menu elevates the ordinary—think pot roast sandwiches and creative egg dishes alongside traditional cappuccinos—making it the kind of place where visitors find themselves lingering over coffee and conversation. With genuinely warm staff and a family-friendly atmosphere that feels both comfortable and special, it's become a neighborhood favorite where people come for coffee and stay for the full experience.

I found this spot while visiting a friend. Itd super cute and has a cool vibe. Cappuccino was great but not a fan of the fact that it’s served in a small glass as it was challenging to hold in my hand. . Fruit was fresh and good. Sourdough toast was good but I asked for butter and it was not buttered nor did I receive butter. The jam was superb. Definitely recommend

Hands down my favorite coffee shop!! The people are amazing, the atmosphere is modern and cozy, and the coffee/food is the best! Their food is so delicious, I recommend the procuttio salad or the eggs Benedict they are fabulous! I love everything about this place especially their lattes! Highly recommend if you want to go for brunch or lunch!

We stopped by for coffee and ended up having breakfast. Never have I seen a pot roast sandwich on a breakfast menu, but I’m so glad I ordered it. It was absolutely delicious, as was the salmon Benedict. The coffees were a little unexpected, in that they were small cups, and not at all what we were accustomed to, but they tasted delicious.

We expected a typical coffee shop but were pleasantly surprised by their breakfast/brunch menu; they elevate the typical breakfast choices so each dish seems both familiar yet unique. We had a green juice, oat milk latte, burrata with orange jam on sourdough, and smoked salmon benedict. We will be back to try their green shakshuka and watermelon juice. There is a modern, clean, relaxed vibe with friendly service. It's a place you can enjoy a quick bite or beverage, or stay to work or chill.

Great place but let’s start with the negative. I ordered the Breakfast hash which comes with your choice of meat and home fries. The dish came in lukewarm, borderline cold, which wasn’t the best experience. The worst part for what the sauce contained garlic, it was not mentioned on the menu. Garlic is tasty but it’s not a typical ingredient, depending on the social context, a customer may not want their breath to stink garlic, also not the best ingredient for breakfast and finally some people are intolerant to it. I am unfortunately in that group, it gives me very bad stomach ache and wreaks my stomach for days. There is a lot of garlic on this menu, make sure to mention it on all the dishes that include it. Other than this the food was quite tasty, my partner took the burrata toast and was happy with it. Too bad portions are small, we came out hungry. Drink-wise, I wanted to try their special drink (with lavender) but they were out. I went with a cappuccino which was good and my partner took the colada which was nice but on the sweet side. Service was friendly and quick. There is plenty of seating space and the place was busy on a Saturday morning around 11am.
