Crema's Take
“Sugar & Sage Bakery is a charming neighborhood gem run by local entrepreneurs that manages to feel both modern and cozy, with a distinctly chic aesthetic that draws everyone from solo laptop workers to friend groups. Their cold brew and specialty drinks pair beautifully with freshly baked pastries and danishes, though their real magic lies in creating a clean, welcoming space where you can linger without feeling rushed—just plan ahead if you're visiting on a busy Sunday morning.”

A wonderful location in our neighborhood. We've driven past it many times, but we didn't realize it was created by local entrepreneurs. It's a very cozy place that hasn't lost its charm or cleanliness in two years. I liked the coffee machine; it looks very impressive. Now that the business has survived the road repairs and parking lot renovations, it's a safe bet for your next visit. We loved it and will definitely come back.
Very much enjoyed my first visit to Sugar & Sage! They have lots of outlets indoors so it was nice to be able to sit and get some work done. Their danish and drinks were fantastic and the baker on shift was SO KIND to us. I personally appreciate how bright and open the space feels! I’d love to come back when the weather’s warmer to enjoy their back patio. Something to keep in mind is that they do close at 4pm! Another thing I noticed is they don’t consistently fill your drink up :( This wasn’t just on my drink but for other’s orders I observed as well.
Absolutely adorable. A modern Elle Woods must stop for coffee, solo or with the girls. Clean, refreshing aesthetic with soft touches of pink throughout. Delicious coffee (I tried the Iced Vanilla Shaken Espresso with regular milk) and while there was only one GF bakery item, it was the best GF banana bread I’ve ever found at a coffee shop/store. It was truly delightful and just the right size (not overwhelmingly large but satisfying). Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area. Tons of cute shops all around as well!
I ordered via Uber Eats. I purchased the ham & butter baguette which was a complete waste of money. The baguette is a miniature one with 2 pieces of ham. It's horribly packaged where the ham wasn't even on the bread. The baguette has no crunch to it. Overall horrible and way overpriced. Next was a banana chocolate chip bread. This was reasonably priced although rather small when comparing it to the blueberry muffin which was around the same price. The bread though was very moist and tasted wonderful. The blueberry muffin was reasonably priced and a very good portion. This was also very fresh but tasted just ok. Very little if any blueberry taste and was very dark. More of a lemon taste and the icing diminished and the quality of the muffin. Both of the pastries were well packaged. Overall the pastries were good and would definitely get the banana chocolate muffin again as well as try other varieties but would most certainly never get the sandwich again or any sandwich for that matter or the blueberry muffin again.
I enjoyed everything here… but the parking. Visited on a Sunday morning and I was pretty crowded. No available outdoor seating. Despite the amount of people we still found a seat indoor and got servers pretty quickly. It was clean and the pastries well organized. Self serve iced water and utensils were stocked. I wouldn’t study or read here because it’s too loud. Finding parking was almost impossible due to nearby construction. The cafe did their best and made reserved parking for their patrons. Keeping the 5 stars because once construction is done this place will be better!
