Crema's Take

Tucked inside the Darcy hotel in Scott Circle, this Bluestone Lane outpost wins hearts through its genuinely warm staff—regulars rave about baristas like Lisa, Benji, Wes, and Amiya who remember faces and offer thoughtful recommendations. The breakfast program shines with standouts like generous salmon toast and quality croissants, though portions and value can be inconsistent, making it best as a convenient morning ritual for hotel guests or nearby professionals rather than a destination brunch spot.

For this 23 USD. Just Toast with Avocado and Egg. In other pleaces you would get nice Bread and some poched eggs and maybe even a little salad on the side. Never had such a bad breakfast for this price in my life.

Bluestone happened to be right next to our hotel and we decided to pop in for some breakfast. Lisa was very sweet and even gave us suggestions on what she recommends on the menu. We enjoyed our breakfast so much so that we returned the following day for breakfast. Lisa remembered us which was awesome, safe to say bluestone lane has held up its reputation.

This cute cafe was recommended by a local friend. I was pleasantly surprised it was actually connected to my hotel The Darcy. I stopped here every morning and the team Nic, Wes, Amyia and Lisa were always a delight to interact with in the morning. They offered their suggestions and always welcomed me with the warmest hospitality. Great food and coffee and a nice area to sit in. Would recommend the Chicken Pesto Jaffle, the Chai Latte and Iced White Mocha w/ oat milk.
