“Stone Mill Bread is a beloved neighborhood bakery in Fayetteville where the standout draw is clearly the house-made bread—regulars rave about their jalapeño three cheese loaf and return specifically for fresh-baked options that elevate everything from breakfast sandwiches to simple soup-and-sandwich combos. The friendly staff and pleasant, well-maintained space create a welcoming spot where locals keep coming back, whether grabbing a warm muffin or sitting on the outdoor patio for a leisurely meal.”

Very nice facility. Friendly staff. Food is fantastic and fresh. We came through there about a month ago and was back in area and had to swing back through. We bought a loaf of bread each time as it's scratch bread and very good.
This was our 1st and LAST time to eat at this restaurant. We ordered a chef salad with chicken noodle soup, spinach salad, and a blueberry oatmeal muffin. We took it back to our room and found that the soup lid wasn't on tightly. Soup was all over the napkins and sack. The spinach salad didn't have any spinach nor meat of any kind and no blue cheese. What really surprised us was instead of fresh in house baked bread being served with our salads we got some generic rolls from who knows where. The muffin was so hard and it tasted like cardboard. We thought this was a bakery but were wrong. We will skip this place from now on and go back to tried and true PANERA BREAD.
I’m writing this as a thank you to the store. I’m a regular here so it’s obviously a good store. But the other day , my toddler and I walked in to buy their JALAPEÑO THREE CHEESE BREAD and I asked my son to pick it up while I paid and he accidentally picked up the jalapeño Cornmeal bread - which, although isn’t bad, wasn’t what I went in for . Within a few minutes I went in to return the cornmeal and get the cheese bread , but because of store policy they couldn’t let me return the cornmeal one and just let me have the cheese one for free alright it was my fault . So, very good customer service ! Thanks :D .
I haven't been to Stone Mill in years but I knew in advance that the bread would be great. I had the breakfast sandwich with egg & ham, no cheese. As simple as the order was, it tasted really good (some salsa would have been a flavorful addition). It was mid-morning and service was prompt. I will say the bathrooms were extremely clean too. I'll be back to try some of their other sandwiches, soups and treats.
Pretty popular joint. We stopped by for lunch. It was weekend and the place was pretty closed. We sat in the outside patio. We ordered half soup and half sandwich combo. We ordered chicken and dumpling soup, which was mediocre. However, the Cajun sandwich was excellent. So as the chicken salad sandwich. All the combos were served with a pickle, chips and a cookie. The sandwich size is small on portion size. This place cater lunchboxes to events. And they are local bread makers. They have a different varieties of breads. The breads are pretty expensive and taste decent. I usually buy these from whole foods.
