Crema's Take

Tucked into Stowe, this espresso-focused coffeehouse nails the cozy-industrial aesthetic with vintage furnishings in a spacious loft-style space where you'll actually want to linger for hours. Beyond their exceptional pour overs and cappuccinos, Brio earns serious love for creative seasonal drinks like their citrus and eggnog lattes, plus an impressively smooth matcha that's a rare find in Vermont. The whole experience feels genuinely welcoming—dog-friendly, staff who actually care, plenty of seating to spread out, and even a small merch corner—making it the kind of place that becomes your go-to quickly.

Brio’s coffee and speciality lattes are fantastic! Recently tried the citrus latte and egg nog latte. They’re also dog / pet-friendly which I really appreciate, and you can bring your own to-go cup. There’s tons of seating options in the front and back area, making it a great place to hang out. Love the vibe here :)

Great vibes as soon as you walk in the door. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Additional perks include lots of seating inside our outside, a mini coffee-related shopping area, branded merch, and almost always 1-2 fur balls lounging around the store.

Coffee is exceptional. Sitting here in very cool, cozy coffeehouse atmosphere. Comfy, lounge atmosphere with vintage furniture. This cappuccino doesn't get better.

Brio Coffeeworks has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots in town. The moment I walked in, I was struck by its cool industrial vibe—clean, minimal, yet warm and welcoming. The baristas were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations based on what I usually like. I ended up trying their espresso tonic with a gingery twist, and wow—it was bright, refreshing, and unlike anything I’ve had before. I honestly wish every coffee shop offered this drink! The space is perfect for both quick visits and longer stays. I found a cozy table near an outlet, which made it easy to catch up on some work while sipping my drink. They’ve really thought through the details to make the experience comfortable. I also grabbed a gluten-free olive oil cake and a cromuffin—both were delicious and fresh. It’s always a win when a cafe offers great pastry options for dietary restrictions. Before I left, I picked up a bag of their Ethiopian beans and a couple of cold brews to take home. I can already tell I’ll be coming back regularly. Brio isn’t just a cafe—it’s a full coffee experience. Amazing service, unique drinks, and a space that invites you to stay a little longer. Highly recommend checking it out!
