The Garden

Crema's Take
“Tucked in old Ferguson, this roomy-yet-cozy spot has mastered the art of being both a serious study sanctuary and a vibrant social hub, with baristas who genuinely seem to elevate the whole experience through their warmth and musical taste. The pastries—especially their sourdough cinnamon roll—pair beautifully with thoughtfully crafted drinks, and the serene morning atmosphere makes it the kind of place where three hours disappear while you're lost in your work. It's where Ferguson's coffee lovers gather not just for excellent drinks, but for the joy the space and people bring together.”

The space, customer service and coffee are all excellent. We love this roomy and still cozy coffee shop in old Ferguson.
Best place to meet with friends and connect. All the baristas are superstars and I love hanging around them. They bring so much joy to the place along with the beautiful atmosphere and decoration. I wasn’t much of a coffee drinker until this place came along. HIGHLY recommend going and planting a seed at The Garden.
I really hate to be that guy, but the coffee here has been pretty bad the two times I've gone. I do not take pleasure in leaving a negative review, lord knows we hardly have any decent coffee shops in north county as is and so I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, when you're serving both bitter AND sour tasting coffee in one drink it's pretty hard to rally behind. Again, I REALLY wanted to like this place. It's practically down the street from my house but I just cant with them. Maybe I'll try them again in the future, but definitely not for a while. Whenever I do get around to going back, and get served a latte I actually can stomach finishing, I'll gladly update this review! For what its worth, the renovation is beautiful and the spot is very cozy and clean. The staff was also quite friendly on both of my visits. My advice would be to just pass on the coffee as of now.
Today was my first time visiting and I had such an amazing experience. I came in when they opened at 7 AM and spent about 3 hours studying here. It was really quiet and cozy. They also provide free WiFi, which is nice. Morgan and Sarah were super sweet and personable. The hot chocolate was really good and they were also serving food from another business, which I enjoyed as well. This will be one of my new go-to study and work spots.
I LOVE this place. I study here on the regular - their drinks and pastries are fantastic, especially the sourdough cinnamon roll! The baristas are all super fun and we love to talk about music. The attached gallery is really special too; I’ve actually brought groups of students and scholars from out of town to go through the journey of lament and hope for St. Louis.
