Brunch is awesome here. I recommend the banana nut crepes and the chilaquiles verde. 👍🏼👍🏼 Mimosas and bloody mary's made with zingzang are 10/10
I love this place for small and large gatherings. Everything in the menu is good and the staff is great!
Breakfast is always good! I usually sit at the bar but it was too many people seated there so I opted for a booth. When I’m out to eat, I don’t care for many people surrounding me. The waitress was decent but sweet. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which came with toast, but don’t be alarmed by the picture. It’s really good especially with the spinach and mushrooms! Definitely a nice place to enjoy your meal, free of too many distractions. Also, military discount, which is important to some people. I will be back!
Hostess sat all Caucasian people on one side and sat the African Americans on the other side. I do understand that the servers are busy but none of the servers were talking to tables nor were they in the kitchen. They were all in the front around the older Korean guy by the POS. Servers looked at us and waited over 5 mins before greeting us and asking for our drink order. This is totally unacceptable because I am a server myself. We greet everyone with 30-45 seconds. 1 minute is a stretch . So 5 is outrageous. All in all this was a terrible experience. My friend and I felt unwelcome at COFFEE HOUSE CAFE !!!!
I used to love Coffee House Cafe! I would bring friends and family all the time. However, they’ve gone down in quality over the last 2 years. I remember getting chicken apple sausage links that were smaller/soft, really seasoned potatoes, and a little flower on my plate! Today, I ordered the same thing and got given these huge dark sausages and the waiter told me they were the exact same and they’ve never changed. But alas, they have and these new ones are hard to cut and not so good. The whole plate is what I’m used to, the pic of the sausages is what I got today.. plus the potatoes aren’t as crunchy or seasoned anymore.
