Crema's Take

Jerry's Famous Coffee Shop is a nostalgic North Las Vegas institution that doubles as a casual gaming spot, complete with bingo nights and low-stakes table games that transport you back decades. Beyond the coffee, they're known for genuinely excellent breakfast and comfort food—think corned beef hash that folks rave about, generous steak and eggs specials, and house-made touches like jalapeño bread and fresh salsa that show real care in the kitchen. It's the kind of unpretentious, family-friendly place where locals linger over affordable meals and good conversation, with none of the casino flash but plenty of old-school charm.

The restaurant here has wonderful food. The bingo was very fun. We had never played but they explained things to a total newbie. The prime rib and salad were great. It’s not as fancy as other casinos nor is it that nice a neighborhood, but it’s definitely friendly, fun, and a good deal.

$5 real table craps. $2 roulette. Wow. Like going back to 1980's when I lived in Henderson. We had the $8 steak and eggs and my daughter and her boyfriend shared a breakfast burrito. The steak was a cheap cut of meat. A little chewy, the eggs and fixins were good, but for $8, you can't go wrong.. Topped off with a strawberry sundae! 12 minutes north of the north end of strip. Plently of friendly security.

We went for their $16.89 steak and shrimp special. The steak was cooked right, and the shrimp was plump and juicy, properly cooked as well. There are potatoes and soup or salad that come with it. I asked them if they could put some vegetables on our plate as well, and they did. The tomato basil soup was excellent! Good service. Fairly standard interior for a coffee shop inside a casino. Overall, a very nice visit. We will be back!

We had a really nice affordable dinner here on Thanksgiving day. My Spicy Nugget beef sandwich with cheese and caramelized onion on toasted jalapeño bread was delicious. Himself enjoyed roast turkey breast and gravy, bread stuffing, mashed potatoes, and sweet potatoes. If he had a criticism, it concerned the stuffing, which would have been better if made from cornbread rather than wheat bread. A large slice of pumpkin pie came with the Thanksgiving Dinner, and our hardworking server, Cindy, graciously substituted a nice dinner salad for the soup that was included with the meal. I also had the Lemon Crumble Cheesecake, which was tasty and surprising (crumble topping with an unexpected drizzle of caramel).

Hands down the best Corn beef hash that I've ever had. The "home" fried potatoes were out of this world. I asked for some spicy salsa and I was blown away with the quality and taste with some homemade from scratch habanero salsa. The eggs "over easy" were precise. Lastly I requested some jalapeños on the side......I was given some perfectly grilled to perfection gems. Do yourself a favor next time you visit Las Vegas, stop in at Jerry's Nugget and I promise You that you'll be thanking me. From this day forward Jerry's Nugget will always be be included whenever I visit Las Vegas my favorite place on Earth. As a side note the server and waitress offered us the best service ever making us feel welcomed and appreciated. I Love this place!!!!!!
