Crema's Take

Tucked in Boston's Seaport, this Parisian-inspired patisserie transports you straight to Paris with its cozy, charming atmosphere and genuinely personable service. Their croissants are the real draw—whether you're biting into a perfectly flaky classic, an indulgent Nutella cube, or one of their creative seasonal varieties—though timing your visit before closing gets you a bonus BOGO deal if you don't mind pastries that have sat a few hours.

We arrived at 8 AM on a Friday morning. It was empty with quick and friendly service. We ordered a cappuccino and two lattes, pistachio, croissant, strawberry cheesecake croissant, and a cheesecake croissant. The cheesecake croissants were mildly sweet while the pistachio croissant was very sweet. My favorite was the strawberry cheesecake croissant - very flavorful.

I went there before they close and get BOGO. Since the croissants have been there for a while, they are not that crispy any more. Still good taste. Maybe a little bit too sweet for me. I can enjoy it once a while. Good service though. A little bit more than 10 dollars with BOGO.

I tried Dubai chocolate croissant. Although it had impressive amount of kataifi filling, I can’t say I was impressed or would come back. There was also some kind of pistachio whipped cream inside at the “ends” of croissant (I presume to prevent the kataifi filling from falling out as it didn’t have enough of pistachio cream therefore was “crumbly”), I didn’t enjoy that part at all. The croissant dough itself didn’t have much of taste, definitely not buttery and chocolate-wise it was just that drizzle on the top. So not much chocolate in Dubai chocolate croissant. I would rather call it pistachio kataifi croissant. Because of its size it was also quite hard to eat it. And for the price of almost $14… No. But atmosphere and service was pleasant. But unfortunately it will be no for me.

Lakon Paris Patisserie in Seaport is a little slice of Paris in Boston! ✨ Cozy Parisian vibes the second you walk in. The Nutella cube croissant? 10/10 . Classic croissant? Perfection. Pumpkin pie latte = autumn in a cup, and the strawberry matcha hits the spot! The staff is warm, welcoming, and just the sweetest! We ended up staying for hours, sipping, snacking, and soaking in all the cozy vibes 🍰

If you’re at the Seaport in Boston, you will not be wowed by the shops, that part was very disappointing. But Larkin Paris will certainly wow you. The service is very personable and professional. And the pastries taste better than they look. The pistachio pastry is to die for. Even if your not a pastry person, you need to experience this place.
