Service was amazing! Atmosphere fits being next to the ocean and seaside. The breakfast burrito was flavorful! The pickled veggies helped give it a good kick. We went during breakfast time which normally wouldn’t have fries, however they were able to accommodate and provide me with fries as well. The fries tasted crunchy and airy! Probably some of the better fries I’ve tried lately. The pancakes are also amazing! It’s thick but is also airy and have a good moist in it at the middle. Great place to enjoy breakfast!
Heading south on the ICW we had a two night rain delay in Wrightsville Beach. Lucky for us as we found the Drift Cafe and enjoyed two fantastic breakfasts. Someone with cooking chops gave basics a twist and then added a few unique offerings. Absolutely delicious, fresh food that satisfies and makes you happy. Great service, great vibes. Take a salted chocolate chip cookie with you for later.
Stopped into Drift Cafe this morning and had a really lovely experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and beachy, perfect for a slow coastal breakfast. Service was genuinely great friendly, fast, and attentive without feeling rushed. I ordered the Nutella French Toast, which was phenomenal. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and a generous drizzle of chocolate. A sweet breakfast dream. The Crispy Potato Brekkie was hearty and flavorful as well. We paired it with a Mocha and Cappuccino, both beautifully made with smooth texture and latte art that shows the care they put into their coffee. One thing I really appreciated plenty of free parking, which is rare anywhere near the beach. Easy in, easy out. Overall i would say Delicious food, great coffee, fast and friendly service, and convenient parking. Definitely a spot I’d recommend visiting if you're near Wrightsville Beach.
First time at Drift Cafe Wrightsville Beach location. Menu selection & including coffee choices were excellent. Food was excellent you can’t go wrong enjoying a meal there. We had breakfast Savory stack Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes, plus the bacon & eggs were delicious. Other meal was Crispy Potato Brekkie also perfect. Portions were just right. Lovely outdoor seating but it was a chilly day when we went so we were inside. Zoe our waitress very personable. By the way if you happen to see the dessert display the chocolate chip cookies are large & great. Enjoy!!
This is a wonderful breakfast option at the beach. The atmosphere provides the beach vibe while the menu had a twist to standard breakfast items like their pancakes, which had a cornmeal flavor (very nice). My wife and I selected healthier options and the menu had several, which impressed both of us. Coffee was good, food hot and delicious. The place does get crowded on weekends so plan to have a wait, but well worth it! This will be my fall back breakfast place when I'm back in Wrightsville!
