Place is in demand!! Foe breakfast Easily accommodated a table of 8 in 10 minutes of arrival. Portion sizes are plentiful. Specialty sandwich, French toast and pancakes got rave reviews. Appreciate the variety of menu. Options for dietary restrictions. Multiple staff on deck who checked in very frequently. Definite return in our future.

I’ve visited Scranton many times and just found this place for breakfast. I left very satisfied. The French toast was great, and I would definitely come back for more breakfast. I also enjoyed the drink options and will be back for more smoothies.

Cute spot with very friendly staff. Gets busy but we got a seat quick and had good service. There’s a cafe and eatery. We got a turkey club and blt, they were alright. We would try something else next time :) Lots of windows with a good view of the times building $37 for the Blt, club, apple juice and iced tea

Omg I love this place the food is so good I can’t even think of the word to use the staff is wonderful the server Kaylee the best very pleasant. The atmosphere is awesome lots of windows and views of the area out side. This is my new breakfast place. If and when you are in Scranton stop in to the coffee bar at the downtown deli. Bring you you appetite cause the servings will definitely fill you up and the price won’t be beat

Downtown Deli seems to truly put their heart and soul into their homemade dishes. Their Chicken Soup, the Helen Schwartz sandwich. I’ve never had a single bad meal, all delivered in quality packaging. From their spectacular chicken soup, to their roast beef dip; everything from the breading to the meats are amazingly great, delicious and high-quality. The Charmalot sandwich (basically a French dip…) is divine. Their bread is always perfect and their meats are meticulously trimmed and perfectly cooked. A true NY-style deli experience and I am grateful for the ability to have a high-quality deli that I can enjoy good, quality and healthy food from.
