Yellow Mug Coffee Lounge
113 N Main St, Weaverville, NC
Crema's Take
“Yellow Mug Coffee Lounge in Weaverville has earned its stellar reputation as a genuine all-rounder, where non-coffee drinkers are just as welcome as devotees thanks to standout matcha tea, smoothies, and genuinely excellent breakfast that draws crowds for good reason. The bustling, friendly atmosphere rewards early arrivals with generous portions and kind service, though seating can be tight inside—but the outdoor area offers a pleasant escape from the cheerful chaos. This is the kind of neighborhood spot that becomes a destination, whether you're stopping before heading to Asheville or settling in for an unhurried morning with excellent pastries and full breakfast options.”

Flavor: A Service: A Tea: A Solo dining: A I’m not a coffee drinker - but don’t be fooled - this place has something for coffee drinkers and unaddicted people alike. I had the French toast and a biscuit with gravy. All of it was delicious. The French toast was perfectly cooked with great syrup. The biscuit and gravy was flavorful and hearty. And the tea… this was good, strong, freshly-brewed tea. The crew was also joyful and welcoming. I’d eat here again and again.
Great food and I guess that's why they are really really crowded. Lucky if you can get in the door. Very limited seating. But huge portions and awesome food, like I said. Very busy and thus noisy too though. Great for pick up orders. Service was fast too.
We came here for refreshments before continuing our trip to Asheville. Our smoothie and coffee were excellent! Everyone was so friendly, and being from Pittsburgh one of us was wearing a Primanti Brothers t-shirt, which sparked a long conversation with one of the baristas. There's lots of seating inside and lots of food and beverage choices. I'd definitely stop in again the next time I'm in town!
Really lovely little breakfast/brunch spot. The servers were all super kind and accommodating. It was a little loud and busy inside but there is plenty of nice outdoor seating. Even with it being busy we got our food quickly. My boyfriend and I both loved our smoothies and had delicious breakfast sandwiches. Also had a tasty cinnamon roll croissant. Really enjoyed and will definitely be going back!
Cute coffee lounge/cafe! Serving breakfast, brunch, pastries, coffee and tea. Vegan breakfast bagel could use a little something just to spice up the flavor a little bit. Very inclusive atmosphere. Friendly staff! Vegan and gluten free options. Local art on display and for sale. Highly recommended visiting!
