Crema's Take
“This beautifully repurposed auto repair shop in Portland has earned serious loyalty for its exceptional brunch game, particularly standout waffles and creative takes on classics like eggs Benedict, all while accommodating gluten-free and allergy-conscious diners with genuine care. The industrial-chic space comes alive with a community vibe—literally, as walls showcase customer artwork on provided paper—and the service matches the quality of the food, though expect it to fill up fast enough that a reservation is worth calling ahead for. Fair warning: the experience and generous portions come at a premium price point, but regulars suggest the phenomenal chef and warm, bustling atmosphere make it worth the splurge for a special breakfast or leisurely meeting spot.”

Food was good. Atmosphere was casual. Very open (like a remodeled auto repair shop). Was very expensive. + $70 pre-tip total. Two people. One classic eggs Benedict. One eggs Benedict with hash. Two bloody Mary’s. Two waters.
Amazing gluten free selection. Super allergy friendly for people who have other allergies. Great service and delicious food. Best waffles I’ve ever had!
Such a cute and unique spot! The walls are covered in customer artwork from the paper they give you to draw on — a fun touch that really stands out. The service was incredible from start to finish, with every server offering a warm good morning and genuinely attentive care. I ordered the Florentine Eggs Benedict, and the balance of pesto and hollandaise was perfection. No idea why it took me so long to visit, but I’m so glad I finally did — I’ll be back!
Couldn’t recommend this place more! I called in a reservation on a Wednesday morning and though it probably wasn’t necessary I’d recommend it anyways because it got busy quick! Was so happy to have so many options as someone with celiac. I ordered the gluten free strawberry waffles with turkey sausage and potatoes. YUM!!
W head a great time at brunch at the sinful kitchen. The seating area is a little crowded for the demand they have but I think that just speaks to how good the food is. The chef is phenomenal. We ate here twice on our Labor Day weekend trip. I’m not usually someone who goes back to eat somewhere on a trip. I like to try new places but the corned beef hash was so delicious and satisfying. The first time I also got the stuffed French toast. My husband got the brunch burger. Would highly recommend this place if you are willing to wait a little to get a table. The second time we got takeout and ate outside. Great service and the girls at the front are super friendly. Overall, such a great brunch place. Would go back in a heartbeat.
