Crema's Take

This Cranston spot is all about comfort in a bowl—their soups are the real draw, with locals raving about the quality and convenience of multiple delivery options for those nights when cooking feels impossible. The vibe is genuinely family-friendly and welcoming, from staff who'll let you sample flavors before committing to generous combo deals like their "hangover helper" that pairs a warming soup with grilled cheese and coffee. While consistency seems to occasionally slip, the heart of this place is in delivering the kind of homemade-feeling food that makes you want to support a local business.

The soups here are amazing—perfect for those days when you don’t feel like cooking after work. You can just pick some up, and they even have multiple delivery options which makes it super convenient. Honestly, I don’t know what’s better: the soup or the owner! She is one of the most humble and sweetest people you’ll meet. She always has a bright smile on her face the moment you walk in and makes everyone feel so welcome. Highly recommend this place. If you haven’t tried it yet, you definitely should!

I've wanted to stop for some time, but since I don't live in the area I had to wait for the perfect opportunity. This weekend was it! The staff let me try a few of the soup flavors and I walked out with 3 different kinds to share with family that were all DELICIOUS. I bought a quart of the chickpea which has lasted a few days and I loved the coffee too. I might just have to make the move to RI :) Great shop, Lily! Can't wait to come back and try the frozen drinks when it warms up!

Ordered a $20 chicken noodle soup. There was NO chicken and barely any noodles. It was also ice cold. The soup itself tasted like pure water. Awful experience and ended up having to door dash food from somewhere to my job for my dinner

We decided to order a late lunch from soups and scoops for my mother’s birthday. Living around the corner, we thought giving this local business a try would be a good thing. Attached in the photos is what we ordered. When my mother opened up her omelette grilled cheese this was the appearance. The eggs are gray, the cheese (which there is a ridiculous amount of) isn’t even melted & the bread was haggard. I went immediately back and asked “this looks awful” & they apologized. They offered to make me something else but if that is how you cook. I don’t want it. I left the sandwich there and I am awaiting contact from the owner for a partial refund. I asked for a refund of just the sandwich and they said “we are not authorized to conduct refunds. I will take your information down for the owner. This is unacceptable quality for the price you are charging. Ps. The corn soup has 3 corn kernels in it and looks NOTHING like the photo.

We got 2 of the hangover helper specials. It came with a coffee, grilled cheese, a bowl of soup and a cookie. We bought 2 small ice creams and 4 more cookies for later. The freezer burnt ice cream was the best part. The soup tasted bland, the grilled cheese was nothing like it was pictured, all the cookies were stale, and coffee was not bad. All together we spent $80. It was literally hangover food at cafe prices.
