Vicky Bakery Coral Springs
2528 N University Dr, Coral Springs, FL
Crema's Take
“This beloved Cuban bakery brings authentic café con leche and warm hospitality to Coral Springs, with a genuinely impressive pastry case that draws regulars back for croquettes, empanadas, and traditional Cuban sweets. While the newer location is still finding its footing with consistency issues that some customers have noted, the friendly counter staff and genuine Cuban experience keep it worth a visit if you're craving something real and unpretentious. Grab a quick coffee and pastry, or settle in with family—this is the kind of neighborhood spot that feels like a local institution.”

Stopped in for some café con Leche, and some croquettes. The girls on the counter were very nice and so many cakes and pastries and everything. Definitely worth a stop.
The customer service at this bakery is sorely lacking and unfortunately I’m not sure the quality of the food is good enough to compensate. I’ve been here twice. In neither occasion did even one staff member make eye contact or greet me when I entered. I did not see a clearly marked area to place my order although there’s a clearly marked “pick up” area. Obviously if staff doesn’t look up when a customer enters, they have no idea who arrived first, second, etc. after waiting 10 minutes with only 2 others ahead of me, I left. I returned an hour later and order 2 cafes con leche and 2 pan tostada con mantequilla. I requested the bread to be extra (twice) toasted. The man making it toasted it once and informed me that it was toasted enough. (It wasn’t toasted enough for my taste). Frankly, if the staff were friendlier, I wouldn’t be posting this review. But I’m finished with Vicky Bakery. They don’t deserve my business.
This was my least favorite bakery in Florida. It lacked the flavor, freshness, and moistness of a true bakery. My empanadas were bland and dry. The store also had a broken coffee machine when we went. I would try out a different location next time.
Cuban toast for almost $4, not worth $.50 cents! It’s shameful to call it Cuban and even an insult! Too lazy to toast it and butter with some cheap butter! Will never go again, EVER! I will just keep going to El Recreo! They are authentically Cuban. This is what happens when you franchise! You give Cuban food a bad reputation when it is incredibly delicious!
Really happy to have a Vicky location this far north. Seems like they’re still working out some of the new restaurant kinks but solid experience overall. Big selection of pastries and coffees, they have a big kitchen as well for made to order plates of food. Acoustics are kind of loud, hope they sort that out! But overall a solid location for this popular restaurant.
