Bright white little beach abode neighbor to the greatest of California's posh places, this Indiana traveler found mild wet February is more severe than Midwest blizzards! A bit funny I had the streets to myself to trot in, order a cherry valentine's latte from the cute barista, and he whipped it right up into a glass. Everything brewed is better in glass. Wish this espresso hug shop was not sixteen hundred miles away but maybe those airline miles cards are not a complete sham after all. Can easily recommend Grounded for those moments needing wings.

Large assortment of delicious, high quality pastries to go along with a cup of coffee. My highlights are the crispy edges and delicately soft scones, the chocolate croissant, and the almond croissant, with just the right amount of sweetness. The quiches look delicious too… For my next trip to town.

Great place of you are on a road trip and need a coffee! They have BUCKET SIZE coffee and just absolutely love the sizing variety! People were there to study and work as well so I think it is great place for that locally as well!

I ordered a hot decaf café latte with coconut milk, and it was smooth, rich, and made with just as much care as a regular shot—no compromise on flavor. The barista was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating such a positive, laid-back vibe. It’s a cozy corner café that feels like a little escape, perfect for relaxing solo or catching up with a friend. Can’t wait to come back!

We found Grounded Coffee House while driving home from San Diego and taking the scenic beach route — so glad we stopped! Their decaf espresso was strong and delicious, just what I needed for the drive. The staff was super friendly, and I loved their cute logo so much that I bought a sticker to remember the visit. A charming little coffee stop — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
