Crema's Take

Americano Lounge has carved out a beloved spot in Nashville as a genuinely welcoming space where baristas actually engage with your order—sometimes diving deep into those flavor choice dilemmas—and where the coffee and pastries (crafted by passionate staff members) live up to the hype. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a focused work session or a leisurely catch-up with friends, with an atmosphere that feels thoughtful rather than trendy, drawing people back again and again.

I've enjoyed my food and service every time. I was really annoyed because the cashier overanalyzed my oatmeal question. I wanted the maple sugar but was curious about the apple cinnamon. I joked, saying I wish I could try both. She said she could put both in, but I said no that I wanted maple sugar. She even typed maple sugar on the register. There were apple chunks in my oatmeal. I didn't taste any maple brown sugar. I explicitly said it's okay I just want one flavor. I even said I'll try the apple next time. This wasn't reverse psychology or wishful thinking. I'm very frustrated that I have to explain where I'm coming from with it falling on deaf ears. If people tell you, even in implicit and indirect terms, they don't want something, it doesn't mean they secretly wish for it. It's assuming submissive tendencies. Don't women say no means no? Now people will think I'm venting when I'm logically conveying.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and I’ve unfortunately brought a lot of people here that I no longer like and would prefer not to run into again, which is on me. The staff is insanely kind, almost suspiciously so, and the coffee is genuinely excellent. The pastries and baked goods are dangerous if you lack self control. They do movie nights, jazz nights, and they clearly love animals because there are animal photos everywhere, which somehow makes the place even better. I may or may not have fallen in love with one of the staff members, which I probably should not admit publicly, but here we are. I love this place. Truly. People should absolutely come here. It’s cool, it’s cozy, and it deserves all the love.

Americano Lounge might be my the coffee shop I stop at when I am in Nashville and get a chance to break away from work. The baristas were super friendly, knowledgeable and it was very evident they care. I had their house drip, and it was definitely worth the trip. The "vibe" was great! I am disappointed I did not have the margin to sit down and enjoy a craft latte and enjoy the atmosphere of the shop!

This is the single best coffee shop in Nashville! The atmosphere is perfect for working and hanging out with friends, the drinks are incredible, and the pastries--made by a super cool barista named Bee--are literally the best that I've ever had. Every single person who works here brings something special to the table. For example, one of the managers, Shea, runs a super fun book club that meets every month at this shop. Another manager, Jamie, has invented some truly awesome drinks that you'll never find in any other shop. As for the other baristas, Steph is so kind to animals and makes my dog feel welcome every time I come in. Sierra tells amazing jokes that makes all of the customers laugh, Riley always picks the best music to keep the shop's atmosphere cool, and Ryan brews some of the best cocktails in the world! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!!

A definite diamond in the rough. The coffee was quite good. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and, thanks to a previous reviewer, knew to ask about leaving the mustard off. The restaurant really needs to list all ingredients on the menu if for no other reasons than allergy safety and liability. The food was good and the atmosphere comfortable. The whole place gives off an old world vibe, but manages to do so without being pretentious. I found it odd that, as a coffee shop, it didn’t open until 9am. Overall, a nice place to stop by if you’re in the area.
