BOBO Bites

I was really disappointed with the taro milk tea here. I was expecting the usual purple color, but when it came out light brown I immediately knew something wasn’t right. Instead of that smooth, taro flavor, it tasted more like brown sugar milk and was thick. On top of that, it had chunks of taro paste, which made the texture strange. For the price they charge, I don’t recommend it.

The first two times I tried this place it was really good! I believe it was the owner who made the drinks she even filmed them and they tasted really good. We came again on our lunch break and we were a little disappointed with our drinks and the strawberries were only filled halfway.

Loved everything especially the cookies and cream donut. They have lots of drinks, food, and sweet options.

Ordered the milo bingsu and was sorely disappointed, which is unfortunate since I only hear good things about this place from my local friends. The menu describes it as shaved ice, but this is literally just the same ice used in drinks. I asked the barista about it because I was confused, and was told “that’s just the ice we use”.

The establishment was humid and stuffy. Air conditioning does not work. Ordered two honey comb toffee lattes with oat milk. Aesthetically looks good however, it did not taste like honey or toffee; tasted like a cup full of milk. I tried stirring, hoping that the flavor would start to settle in the cup but it’s just milk in a cup. Environment seems fun and playful but too humid to stay long. Overall, drinks aren’t good, food looks frozen, and environment is too humid.
