Crema's Take
“Kaladi Brothers in Anchorage beautifully balances serious espresso craft with a genuinely welcoming, gallery-like atmosphere where local art adorns the walls and is actually for sale. Whether you're lingering over a perfectly balanced pour-over, settling in with your laptop, or meeting a friend by the fireplace, the thoughtful bean selection, skilled milk technique, and warm staff create a space that feels both professionally focused and genuinely human.”

Awesome service and atmosphere. Great coffee..Beautiful artwork on walls for sale (by local artist Jamie Janko). We're taking her piece "Moon Mushrooms" back home to Texas.
I went to this coffee shop based on the reputation of the Kaladi Brothers coffee shops and it did not disappoint. Here is the summary of my experience there: 1) Ambiance 5/5: The place has a great hipster vibe with colorful flags. You can spend time on your laptop while sipping coffee here. There is seating outside as well. 2) Service 5/5: The service was good and quick. They even changed our drink when they realized they made a mistake. The day we were there, however, their card machine was not working. 3) Food: 4/5: The food taste was a mixed bag. a) Kaladi coffee (mix of chocolate, coffee, and vanilla): This is a must and the reason it is a must-visit. The coffee was amazing and was our go-to throughout our journey in Alaska. b) Banana pecan bread: This was disappointing and I felt our homemade bread was better than this. It tasted soggy and half-cooked. c) Blueberry Lemon Scone: This was tasty and flavorful 4) Value for Money 5/5: The place is not costly and given the great taste of the Kaladi mix, this is a must-visit Summary: This place is definitely worth a visit and a must order is the Kaladi Mix cold coffee The Good: 1) Kaladi mix coffee 2) The vibe 3) Service and Price Not so good: 1) Banana bread
Decent sit down coffee shop. It had a hipster atmosphere that was inviting. They sold items from local artists which is always a nice touch when you go somewhere. Restroom was clean and stocked. Coffee was done very well. Ordered a breve that was aerated wonderfully. Had some interesting seating arrangements, wish there was more areas where 4x or more could sit but overall good. Do recommend if you’re looking for a sit down.
Glad to find this coffee place open on New Year’s day while many others closed, and they have free wi-fi! :) They even have a fireplace. We ordered a cup of hot chocolate and a bagel. Not bad
I really like their bean choice for the latte. Its a nice medium roasted nutty bean. The milk/espresso ratio was just right. The staff are friendly and its a nice cozy environment. My latte was almost perfect, just not quite hot enough and it took a bit longer than expected given the small number of customers at the time.
