Crema's Take
“Shepherds Table is a neighborhood anchor that treats coffee and pastries as part of a larger mission to celebrate local producers, with sandwiches and baked goods so exceptional they've earned passionate raves, and a warm, communal vibe enhanced by live music and artist vendors. What makes this spot special is the genuine commitment to sourcing—from the owner's family farm cheeses to locally made jams and artisan staples—creating a feeling that every visit supports your actual neighbors. It's the kind of place where you'll linger over excellent food, strike up conversations with locals, and leave wishing it was just around the corner from your own home.”

Shepherds Table is a neighborhood gem! Great locally sourced artisan products like jams, but also locally sourced staples like milk, cream, eggs, bread. I often stop by for a pastry on my way to work and I recently got a sheep’s milk cheese that truly was one of the best cheeses I’ve ever eaten. The sandwiches are 💯 my favorite is the Vermonter when it pops up on the menu. And Elia and Jeremy provide great customer service, I always feel welcomed when I stop by.
This is a sweet spot in our neighborhood! It supports/helps us support our local food producers, and it is active in supporting neighbors and neighborhood groups. They offer great prepared food and drinks, and also great products to take home. I particularly love their sandwiches, sheep’s cheese, and the fresh milk in reusable glass bottles. I look forward to summer when I can put together a little picnic from The Shepherds Table and enjoy it across the street in Longfellow Park.
Stop what you’re doing and go here!!!!!! Eggs milk butter like staples but HIGH CLASS, get a treat get a sandwich on lunch break. What do you mean I got a sandwich chips and a brownie for the same price as any fast food combo meal somewhere else. But I got to engage with my community and have high quality delicious food. I’m emotional. Thanks ST.
Everything sandwich I tried was better than the last. Sandwiches and bakery that should be illegal they are so good. Live music and artist vendors. Vibes through the roof. And the selection quality food for snacking later this week so goood. I wish I didn’t have errands to run because I’d have spent all day hanging out. I know I’ll be back!
The kind of place you wish was just around the corner from your house! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Some of the products come fresh from the owner’s family farm, including lovely cheeses, and sheep’s milk which I tried for the first time! The sandwich I got, The Papa, was delicious. I also bought freshly-baked bread that had just been delivered from Laune Bread. Can’t wait to visit again! I only wish this was down the street from me 😊
