Stone Mill Cafe - Bentonville
2903 S Walton Blvd, Bentonville, AR
Crema's Take
“Stone Mill Cafe strikes a welcoming balance between quick weekday convenience and lingering weekend comfort, with a spacious, clean atmosphere that works equally well for a solo coffee run or a leisurely meeting with friends. Their made-to-order sandwiches, soups, and gelato showcase fresh ingredients that justify the slightly higher price point, though service consistency seems to vary depending on when you visit. It's the kind of neighborhood spot where you can grab a pick-two lunch or settle in with a traditional coffee drink and actually stay awhile.”

I was highly disappointed to find the pick 2 no longer includes a cookie and chips. This was the beauty in the pick 2. I paid $14 for half a sandwich and small cup of soup. Chicken salad sandwich was delicious but the broccoli cheese soup was orange, tasted like the burnt layer on the bottom of the pot and had a layer of oil sitting on top. 2 pieces of broccoli in it and mainly tasted like chicken broth. Pretty much paid for soup juice. I love Stone Mill but I will no longer purchase from this location due to the ala cart implementation and the poor quality of soup. If the other locations have not gone ala cart, I highly recommend the Bentonville location go back to the way it was. People will talk and you will lose business I assure you. Really disappointed…
Not sure why others are commenting such negative reviews. I don't feel the food is bland. It's not a gourmet restaurant. It's a quick sandwich and soup. It taste wonderful. The customer service is top tier. They will do their best to make it a positive experience for everyone. I've been a couple times and each time I've gone I've left very happy. They are always fairly busy but the food is coming as soon as I sit down after getting a drink most of the time. It's fast and a great place to sit with friends and family. Really amazing place.
Amazing food, atmosphere, everything. The tortilla soup and West Coast sandwich was the best! Blat sandwich was awesome also.
Awful! Rude service as soon as we walked in. The person taking my order acted bothered we walked in. The place is nice, spacious and clean. But when food was delivered, the guy basically dropped it on the table and then just walked off. Our food was NOT good. I ordered the West Coast Special and there was nothing special about it. A cold sandwich with hardly any meat. My mom ordered the chicken salad. It was soaked in mayonnaise and the chicken salad itself wasn’t good. She could hardly eat it. The oatmeal cookie was Ok. Overpriced for what we got. Won’t be back.
A nice sandwhich, salad, soup, and gelato shop. Everything we had was fresh. My husband informed me when I thought the price was a bit steep that it was actually a good price for a real restaurant instead of a McDonald's (I guess I don't eat out enough...) The employees were very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was very comfortable and more spacious than I expected. They have a lot of seating inside and a small patio area in the back that was mostly shaded. Overall, it was worth going, and I can see us going again. Small caveat: You need to tell them what condiment to put on the sandwhich (if it is the diy) it doesn't come automatically.
