Moody Brews Coffee House

I’ve visited Moody Brews several times and really wanted to love it, but I do have a few concerns. On more than one occasion, I’ve been told I can’t order a hot drink larger than 16 oz. In 2026, most coffee shops are able to accommodate larger sizes if a customer is willing to pay for it. One time an employee was able to modify my order and make it a 20 oz, but every other time I’ve been told no, which feels inconsistent and a bit confusing. Secondly, when I order a hot drink , usually the Butterbeer Chai , it’s often only lukewarm. By the time I get toward the bottom of the cup and reach the actual chai, it tends to taste watered down. Because of these experiences, I’ve found myself driving 20 minutes to 7 Brew, where they’re always willing to accommodate customizations and serve drinks hot and consistent. It’s disappointing, especially in a smaller town, when businesses don’t make small adjustments that would encourage customers to return and enjoy the experience. Moody Brews is the third or fourth establishment to occupy that plaza space, so I genuinely hope they’re able to improve and thrive. I’d love to be able to support them regularly, but consistency and quality make a big difference.

My first time here, and it was worth the 40 minute drive.. I plan to once a month or so :) the staff answered my questions, the food was so good! My drink was amazing, I tried the iced raspberry cheesecake latte. The craft and presentation is great! But it was even more tasty between espresso and flavor, I normally do not like raspberry, but in this case, I did! Can’t wait to come back and try something else! Thanks!

I loved everything about this place! The breakfast bagel sandwich with extra aioli was delicious. 😋 Went back a 2nd and 3rd time for various items.... breakfast sandwich on croissant, early bird latte, sunset smoothie, chicken salad on croissant, pomegranate green tea. Everything has been so good. This place is getting me in trouble because it's so delicious. 😋

I genuinely don’t think I’ve been this happy about food or drinks in a long time. My husband and I got a tiramisu matcha and a butterbeer chai and they were amazing!!! Also got one of each macaroon and a bacon cheddar stuffed bagel and a cinnamon toast bagel. They had such a nice crust and fluffy inside. I’m blown away by the flavors and textures. The staff were also so sweet, I have a cashew pistachio and shellfish allergy and they made absolutely sure I was safe. This was the first time I have ever been able to have a macaroon and I understand why everyone loves them so much. They literally melt in your mouth it’s wild. Also I feel like we balled out with food/ drinks and even with a $5 tip we spent $38 total. That’s amazing price for the quality! Will be coming back very soon.

I absolutely LOVE this place. they have the kindest staff, the best drinks, and the yummiest treats! the atmosphere is so calming and always helps me get my studying done! The only thing I wish i could change is their hours. I wish they were open later! It would be so relaxing to get work done once it’s dark out with the pretty lights and the peaceful atmosphere :) Overall, i’m obsessed with this place and tell everyone I know about it.
