Crema's Take
“Blackbird Comics & Coffeehouse brilliantly merges two passions into one welcoming space where you can sip thoughtfully-made coffee while browsing comic books and collectibles, all while your dog settles in beside you. The staff's genuine expertise shines through in their creative drink recommendations—including adventurous mystery drinks that locals keep coming back for—and their knack for making first-time visitors feel immediately at home. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose hours, whether you're working on your laptop, meeting friends, or discovering your next favorite comic title alongside your perfect cup.”

I've never been to a Comics/Coffee shop. What a great idea! I totally loved it. The staff is so freaking knowledgeable. I got some great recommendation and I found a couple of titles I didn't even know I needed.
Today is my third day here in a row and I’m finally leaving a review. What can I say? I walked into this place and immediately felt like home even your service animals are welcome. I had way more footage, but I wanted to respect the privacy of the customers they weren’t ready for me. And I wasn’t ready for them. The atmosphere in this place is so warm and inviting and cozy. You just know it’s someplace that you have to come back to. If you were looking for sanctuary. You have found sanctuary… in this place.
Such a fun place. We got the mystery drinks and both of ours were something out of the ordinary that we normally wouldn't of gotten, but very good and was glad we tried them. We also got the avocado toast and it was delicious. Service was great and there's a ton of stuff to look at in the shop.
Such an amaaaazing place! So cute! So neat and interesting! Loved the decoration! They have so many items that you can easily spend hours inside! As far as the coffee, not strong enough for me. She redid my latte and still not good for my taste. Just as a side note: so outdated and unfair to charge extra for oat milk!
After receiving “Orlando The City’s Magazine” and reading the Coffee Bracket Challenge 2025 winner was Blackbird Comics and Coffeehouse, I made a trip to find out just how good the coffee was. And let me say, it did not disappoint! We arrived just as they were opening at 9:00 AM, so it wasn’t busy. I ordered the Dark Knight: dark chocolate, cream and vanilla. It was extremely sweet, like a really good hot chocolate. The chocolate was high quality and delicious. I usually ask for half the syrup, but I decided to go for it full strength. Next time I’ll go light on the syrup since I don’t like my drinks too sweet. But I did enjoy this! The shop is mainly a comic store, and it’s so cool to just walk around and take in all the fun eclectic decorations. Lots of comics and graphic novels to choose from. Made for a fun atmosphere to look around or sit and sip, plenty of seating. The barista was friendly and helpful with making my coffee selection. Plenty of free parking in the lot out front.
