Gong Cha - Augusta

This Gong Cha has fallen off for the past couple of months. I’ve been coming here for years so I know and can literally taste the difference in the slushies we typically order. They have become a watery mess with no flavoring. We have asked about it and it still has not gotten back to normal. The drinks we ordered tonight after taking a break were the same issue. I asked them could they remake them and the remakes were also a watery mess with hardly no flavoring. They told me the syrup changed then asked if it just needed more flavoring. So I’m not sure what is the reason. I just know the drink quality have significantly decreased over the months, they have new people who maybe don’t know how to make the drinks to taste, and it has become a waste of money buying drinks that we barely touch. We have just tried to keep coming out of customer loyalty because we’re regulars but were going to have to find something else. Throwing away full paid drinks is just not it. Very disappointing because it used to be the best in town!

I’ve ordered online twice! The milk slush boba with aloe and mango popping pearls. It has always come with just the aloe and never the pearls?! Someone needs to do some reading comprehension bc this happening more than once is crazy.

The cashier was the only person there. Being a new costumer and never having tried the teas , she was not very informative on the products being sold and looked confused.

Great place to get some boba. They have lots of options. The boba had a good texture and all 3 of our drinks were yummy. We enjoyed both the fruit teas and milk teas. The had some board games you could hang out and play and plenty of tables to sit at. We will definitely be back for more boba in the future.

What a super fun stop! We really enjoyed the boba and bubble waffles here. The counter service was amazing and so helpful when we made our selections! I’d love to come by every day, but the prices put this in more of a Starbucks/treat category rather than a routine category. Maybe they will set up a customer reward system that would be beneficial too? Either way, I’m glad to see this option in the CSRA and hope it stays.
