Crema's Take

Kismet Cafe brings a warm slice of the Mediterranean to Lafayette with thoughtfully crafted international flavors, from Greek panzanella to Turkish coffee and Lebanese-inspired pastries, all served with genuine hospitality by owner Fadya. The spacious, light-filled spot overlooking a park creates the perfect setting for lingering over specialty drinks and matcha, whether you're meeting a friend or settling in with a book on a rainy afternoon. What keeps people coming back isn't just the quality of the food and coffee—it's the feeling of being genuinely welcomed into a place that celebrates culinary traditions beyond what you'd typically expect in Colorado.

This just became my new favorite spot. We ordered the Greek Panzanella and I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it — every ingredient was perfectly balanced, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with intention. You can tell the people behind this kitchen actually care about what they're putting on the plate. There's a real love and craftsmanship here that's increasingly rare. Do yourself a favor and go.

I’m so happy I found this place! The staff were so warm and friendly and the simit (Turkish bagel) was from heaven. The atmosphere was incredible as well. Can’t wait to come back and try everything. Highly recommended!!

Getting to experience this international flavors in the heart of Colorado is such a gift. Fadya the owner has been incredibly accommodating and hospitable any time we come by. My wife is Lebanese and would like to hang out here and have a coffee every single morning. All of their offerings are incredibly authentic based on my own time in varying countries in the Mediterranean.

This place is truly a gem! We stopped by on a rainy afternoon and had the loveliest time sipping Turkish coffee and tea with a plate of delicious pastries enjoying the cozy vibe. There is a pretty park just outside and the place has windows everywhere so light pours in. Everything was so delicious, especially the sesame cookies and baklava! The owner was so welcoming and kind, too. You will not be disappointed to give this place a try if you're in the area!

What a gem of a coffee shop! The atmosphere is just amazing with a view looking at a small park with spacious windows everywhere. The cappuccino and greek butter cookies were delicious. This is one we will definitely come back to.
