Crema's Take

Tucked away in Twin Falls, this espresso-focused spot earns consistent praise for beautifully crafted drinks—think velvety mochas and perfectly pulled shots—and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere when the team is firing on all cylinders. It's the kind of place locals return to for slow, lingering visits and meaningful conversations, though reviews hint that consistency with service can be hit-or-miss depending on who's behind the counter. On their good days, the staff's warmth and the quality of the coffee make it feel like a genuine neighborhood gathering spot.

It’s great until it isn’t. I’ve been here numerous times with zero problems. The girls had been great and super friendly when I’ve gone. The issue is when you have an issue. 11/25 I got coffee for myself and my coworker and headed into work. As I was walking in with the drinks, I noticed hers was considerably lighter. I let her know about it as I set her drink down and so she popped the top off. It was half full as what I imagine was foam had settled in the drive from Buhl to Filer. I took a picture to send to a supervisor or manager if they requested it and then looked up the phone number. The call would not go through. My coworker tried on her phone, it still wouldn’t go through. She looked on their Facebook page (which has no “message us” option) and the number listed there is the same as we’d already tried. My coworker was able to eventually find an email address and sent an email. She has not received a reply as of this review. Today, 11/26: I stopped in with the intention of having the drink remade and getting a couple more drinks (which I intended to pay for). After I explained that my coworker’s drink was half full yesterday and I’d like it remade, I was asked if I’d spoken with the owner. I let the barista know I hadn’t, as I couldn’t get the call to go through yesterday. The barista admitted the phone number doesn’t work and that she’d call the owner. She stepped into a side room to make that call. When she returned, she informed me that they would remake it this time, but moving forward we’d have to immediately come back if there was an issue so it could be fixed. This caught me off guard, I’ll admit. I let the barista know that I work in Filer typically from 8-5 and she was asking me to leave my job to go back so they could fix it. She was just letting me know what the owner said. I ordered my other two drinks, paid for them, and waited. I did get the initial beverage remade and did check all three drinks in my car before leaving. Coffee is a staple for a lot of people and those people often leave early to make sure they can get their coffee and still be on time for work. To KNOWINGLY not have a way of communication for customer concerns but then to ask those with concerns to leave THEIR job to make the drive back to Buhl is wild to me. I’m lucky that I work in Filer, that would only be about an hour of my time if I notice a quality issue after arriving at work (15 to work, 15 back to Buhl, 5-15 wait, 15 back to work). If someone works further than that, what’s the point?

The first time we came it was fine, the server was helpful and very accommodating. We went back on the weekend and the servers were not interested in helping us as we interrupted their gossip and didn't listen to our order. Don't know what we received but it was awful!!!!🤮 If you're going to visit this place go on the weekdays!!!!!

My grandfather used to own this little shop and I decided to check it out again. I ordered a simple mocha with whipped cream and let me tell you, it was the most sweet, chocolaty, smooth drink I have ever tasted. I HIGHLY recommend you try something there. Seriously. Do it. It doesn't disappoint.

Came in on the Fourth of July, the team was communicating, smiling and made five drinks for us in a timely manner. The drinks and the coffee were perfectly made! They were very kind and I highly recommend them!

We stopped in for coffees today at this spot while on our way through town. The staff was adorable & kind. Both of our drinks were fantastic. We stayed and sat inside for a while and enjoyed the atmosphere. We will be back next time we are in town. Loved this place!
