Crema's Take
“Neighbor Coffee and Friends is a vibrant Austin spot where espresso excellence meets genuine hospitality, with baristas like Caleb who make you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you arrive. Their signature creations—like the iced bourbon caramel latte with its perfectly balanced savory finish—showcase real creativity alongside stellar traditional drinks, while homemade biscuits with whipped honey butter and an outdoor seating area make it equally perfect for a quick caffeine fix or lingering conversations with friends. The espresso handshake and competitive pricing prove that quality doesn't have to compromise on approachability.”

What a delightful stop! The COFFEE IS EVERYTHING!! New favorite latte and I’m mad picky. Homemade biscuits. Whipped Honey butter. Caleb was so friendly and welcoming. You can tell when a person cares and “earnest” becomes an ingredient. Bravo! Check in on your Neighbor. It’ll do your heart good.
Stopped by Neighbors Coffee & Friends and ordered an espresso shot and a hot Americano. It wasn’t bad, but the drinks lacked depth and complexity—overall about a 5.5/10. Fine in a pinch, but not especially memorable. Service was efficient, though very transactional.
The espresso is great quality and the prices are awesome. The espresso handshake is amazing. All the people I’ve encountered there are friendly and quick. There are some outdoor tables to sit under a cover and it’s easy to get in and out of. I’m looking forward to trying their pour over
Got the iced bourbon caramel latte (one of their specialty drinks) and it's delicious. Caramel with a savory finish, but not too strong to where it overpowers the espresso flavor. They also do punch cards!
Rating: 4.6/5 We were in the area, ordering lunch from one of the other food trucks, when we stumbled upon this coffee truck. The bourbon caramel latte caught our eye, so we decided to give it a try. It looked like there was only one person working and taking orders, so you might have to wait a bit to place your order or receive your drink. Large Iced Bourbon Caramel Latte ($6) + Oat Milk ($1): This drink comes with three shots of espresso, but it didn’t have an overpoweringly bold coffee flavor. All the flavors were well balanced. I also really liked the caramel syrup—it didn’t have that overly sweet, artificial sugar taste. I shared the drink with my husband and was caffeinated enough just from drinking half. Even after sitting for a while, it didn’t taste watered down. It’s definitely something I’d order again.
