Rochester Airport, Rochester, NY

Crema's Take

Gusto is a genuinely exceptional airport coffee and food destination that defies every expectation you'd have for a concourse spot. Their Irish coffees are beautifully balanced showcases of craft, backed by an impressive selection of spirits and wines that the knowledgeable staff will happily let you taste before ordering. The food rises well above airport standards with sandwiches and cheeseburgers made with real care, and there are actual cozy corners where you can linger and enjoy the experience rather than just rush through.

The Cajun cheeseburger was meh, but the Irish coffees were delicious - very well balanced in terms of alcohol vs coffee. They have an exhaustive selection of liquors (Mezcal!), wine (dry rieslings), and beers (stouts). Definitely a great place to have a drink after spending time with the family/in-laws or a place to pickup some goose island stouts for holiday gifts for beer-loving friends.

This is NOT airport food. The food quality is amazing, service is friendly and fast, and there are some cozy spots to sit. It’s still in an airport, so cozy is relative, but we had a great experience. The meatballs in the meatball panini were tender and so so good. I also got the sausage and pepper soup, and the flavor was great. Will definitely stop here every time I’m at ROC.

Surprised at how good a little airport spot can be! Ordered a Flyer's club on wheat, and a double espresso with oat milk and hazelnut. Just a perfect pick-me-up while I wait for my delayed flight.

This is one of the best airport restaurant/bars I’ve been to, and not just in Rochester, anywhere. The food is incredible. The beer, wine, and bourbon selection is something you might see in a New York City restaurant, not at an airport bar in Rochester!

Surprise surprise! This is a nice deviation from the mean of airport poor quality food! The owners let me try a liqueur before I added it into my coffee. And the turkey sandwich was excellent in taste and quality. Recommend this spot wheel at the Rochester airport.
