The Vintage Baton Rouge
333 Laurel St, Baton Rouge, LA
Crema's Take
“This cozy independent spot is a Baton Rouge gem where creative coffee drinks meet New Orleans tradition, with their cinnamon sugar beignet bites and Mardi Gras-inspired lattes drawing consistent praise from both coffee enthusiasts and hungry visitors. The friendly vibe makes it equally suited for a quick caffeine fix or settling in for the morning, and they've thoughtfully added savory bites like truffle fries and spinach artichoke dip alongside their standout pastries. It's the kind of place that hits the mark often enough—especially with their specialty brews and beignets—that locals and travelers alike make it a priority stop.”

Lovely place to get creative coffees and beignets! The cinnamon sugar beignet bites, giant cookies, and Mardi Gras matcha & latte were all super good. They offer InKind (an app) for payment and discounts.
I spent most of the morning here working. Cute little spot. Great dirty chai! The avocado toast left a bit to be desired for me even though it came highly recommended. The ciabatta was the best part. I felt the avocado was lacking. The eggs and bacon both had an odd taste like maybe they were cooked in old oil, I'm not sure. Didn't love it. I did enjoy the raspberry biegnet. I loved working there once I found an outlet. Not many to come by!
Stopped in before our event-- even with it being late night, it was amazing! Friendly staff, and the brews and chews were AMAZING. Haven't had a good beignet in a hot minute, but these were THE BOMB. Definitely recommend a flight of the fancy ones, especially if you have company. Sandwiches and the bacon ranch were also yummy! The music was fun, but quiet enough to not disturb anyone working/studying there. Overall, the next time we're in town? We're going again!!
We landed in Baton Rouge and directly went to The Vintage. Hungry as we can be, we found ourselves waiting in a long line...and the line was definitely warranted. By the time we got to the counter, a lot ofenu items were sold out. I ended up with a Veggie panini (and my friend mentioned the BBQ chicken panini was good too). I also ordered the beignets. The specialty beignets were sold out unfortunately. The beignets were fluffy but a touch dry. Otherwise they tasted great. The place had a very laid back attire. Seating was all over. Some very large tables and some just cozy 2 seat tables. Despite being very, for a lack of a better word, weird, it didn't trigger my OCD. It felt very comfy and welcoming. Kudos to whoever set it up. Overall a fantastic place to grab and bite and just chill.
Cute coffeehouse with a bar (haven't had a drink at the bar). Ordered spinach and artichoke dip and garlic parmesan truffle fries. All of it was awesome! If you love truffle fries definitely get these! The music and atmosphere was welcoming and an overall great vibe. Enjoyed the service, the food and the music!❤️
