Crema's Take

Tucked into Whitefish, this beloved breakfast spot nails the cozy farmhouse aesthetic while delivering genuinely excellent food—think fluffy donuts, perfectly crispy potatoes, and generous portions that justify the wait. The homey atmosphere and noticeably friendly staff create that rare magic where locals and visitors alike keep coming back, though arriving early is the smart move since word-of-mouth popularity means the place fills up fast. Whether you're grabbing fresh-baked bread to go or settling in for a leisurely brunch with family, this is the kind of place that feels like a hometown treasure.

Absolutely delicious! We stopped in on a whim and I’m so glad we did! We got there early (thankfully, because it fills up fast — and for good reason!). The donuts were amazing, the potatoes perfectly crispy, and our coffee cups were always full. Our server was so sweet and clearly working her tail off, yet she never missed a beat. The cozy vibe inside and out made us feel right at home — we loved everything about it! ☕🍩

We went to Somers Cafe for breakfast which was busy. We were told a fifteen minute wait which turned out to be a half an hour. Once seated it was close to an hour before we received our breakfast. The food was OK but there was nothing that I would call special about it. I will say, the waitress was nice enough but I am not very incentivised to return.

Probably our favorite breakfast place in the area. It has a cozy, cute, farmhouse style to it. Service, though somewhat limited by staffing levels sometimes, is always excellent, notably friendly and caring. Food is good and has some unique offerings. Be sure to get their house-made fresh bread for your toast! They also have a bucket of donuts you can get! They do have plenty of items you can order for gluten-free people, including gluten-free toast. This is a regular visit for us.

The food in this local restaurant is excellent. Lot of options and meal portions are very generous. We took their fresh bread to go and it was very good. The restaurant is beautiful, only a few blocks away from the lake, full of flowers and plants and lot of outside seating options in front and in the patio area.
