The Chat - A Cat Cafe

It's pretty much: You get tossed in a garage that's been sort of decorated to not look like one and there are some stray cats that may or may not want to play or be pet. They have you take your shoes off but do offer socks to wear. Around 20 minutes in our feet were cold. The wall with the garage door was letting chilly air into the room. They had many places to sit and a basket of cat toys. There were about 5 friendly cats that wanted to play. My daughter loved the experience but she said when we got home that she wasn't interested in going again. The building is tucked behind the main buildings, they had some tables and chair and little cat shop area when you walk in. They offer 30 or 60 minutes. The worker at the entrance was very nice.

I stopped by The Chat A Cat Cafe in Broken Arrow and ended up having a really great time. Will was the first person I talked to and he was super friendly and easy to talk to. He explained how everything worked in a relaxed way and you can tell he really cares about the cats. I ordered a Chonky Cat Brownie and a Calico Mushroom Coffee and both were honestly really good. The brownie was super fudgy and the coffee had this cozy earthy flavor that fit the vibe perfectly. The cat lounge was my favorite part. There were cats all over the place, some playing, some just chilling. The room is set up nicely so you can sit and relax and the cats come over if they feel like it. Will checked in a couple times just to make sure everything was good. I also liked hearing how the cafe focuses on helping the cats get adopted. Will knew all their personalities and it made the place feel like it really matters. Overall it was a super chill visit with good snacks, good coffee, and really sweet cats. Will made everything even better. I’ll definitely come back.

I have been twice since they've opened. Each time has been so nice. The cafe is dim lit and has a nice cozy atmosphere to do some studying, reading, having lunch, or putting together one of their puzzles. The cat room is very fun. Lots of seating, extra pillows for floor sitting as well. I had kitties come visit me and loved being petted. One layed in my lap. Others enjoyed playing with the Lazer light or wand toys. Treats are available to offer to the cats which they love. I love that this business does not require an appointment time. There are also ½hr option & 1hr option to stay to visit depending on your budget & time. Very reasonably priced to visit the cats too. Kid friendly place as well! My 6 & 3 year old enjoyed themselves very much and the cats played with them as well.

So much fun, my granddaughter Violet had her birthday party there and the kids loved it. They have a event room separated from the cat petting area. Highly recommend their party room. And if you love kitty's you can take one home.
