Crema's Take
“Sweet Fare is a whimsical, family-friendly bakery where the pastries are genuinely worth the splurge, especially their standout creations like the brown butter peach cake and custom celebration cakes that locals praise for both quality and fair pricing. The space has a charming, playful atmosphere that delights kids and adults alike, and it's one of those rare cafes where your pup is as welcome as you are. Beyond the Instagram-worthy decor and traditional coffee drinks, the real magic is in their thoughtfully crafted baked goods that inspire genuine loyalty and repeat visits.”

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! All I’m saying is $8 for this. Y’all really playing in people faces. This is not an individual cookie cake. This is just a cookie. I thought when I was spending $8 for something called an “individual cookie cake” it would be around the size of an individual pizza (6 inches in diameter). What is this?! The box isn’t even 6 inches long. Edited: I did do an online pick up order however was not directed to a shop, but a random company. I don’t knock small businesses and is very understanding of circumstances (especially in the current economy). So, I never knew if there was a place for me to go into and look around (without the 30% up charge)… Also, a cookie cake is roughly the size of a pizza; given that it is only about an inch of cookie topped with icing. Apologizing that your product wasn’t “big enough for me” when you know (given that you are in the baking business) certain measurements for specific products. What’s the difference between a regular cookie with icing and your “individual cookie cake”? You don’t see individual cakes sold the size of cupcakes so please stop playing in peoples faces. Thank you!
Went to Sweet Fare on a daddy daughter date. She loved the decor. Whimsical, she called it. It's geared toward little ones. I felt it was a bit pricey, but some of the combinations were interesting, like the key lime pie cookie. Overall, I could crunch sugar in the butterscotch cookie we tried. It was pretty good. However, as an adult, I'm beyond filling in flavor with pure sugar. Though one look at Sweet Fare, and I know I'm not the target audience. It was a cute little stop. It's too pricey for me to bring all four children to at one time. But it was a nice stop on our date. Overall 3 stars for food, 4 for interior and decor. So the kids will be all about it. As an adult, it was ok.
This is such a cute little bakery!! I asked that they do a gender reveal cake for my baby and they nailed it at the best price in both the Cary and Raleigh area. The cake was delicious and got so many complements 🩵
I was gifted two items from a really fantastic relative: a brown butter peach cake and a blackberry crumble. Both were excellent but that peach deal was on another level. I have decided that I really like something if I would get in a car and drive a long distance to get this......Absolutely I would for this. I ate it cold. If it's better heated my head might explode.
What a cute spot filled with delicious goodies for everyone - including dogs! Employee was super helpful and friendly. Loved the strawberry cake and the truffles were also delicious! Our dog enjoyed her treat as well. Will definitely come back.
