This roasting/retail facility is amazing. The tour really opened my eyes/beans to how the process works from start to finish. The smell is still resonating in my mind. Thank you to the entire staff at Chesapeake Coffee Roasters

Came in today to get some beans ground for espresso and some whole beans for a gift. The staff were very nice and even gave me some reccomendations for a home grinder. The Dark Sumatra made a great pull of espresso, very robust with chocolate notes.

I discovered this company from their display at the Maryland Zoo. I since learned all about bird friendly certified, shade-grown coffees and I will never buy anything else. I love how transparent Chesapeake is about their sourcing and process. I find it so fascinating to learn about the different farms all over Mexico and South America. Every coffee i have tried has been delicious in a different way. The artwork on the packaging is beautiful and you get to learn more about each critter that your purchase supports through sustainable agriculture. I could go on all day. Your coffee is truly one of the best parts of my day!

Tried the bird friendly coffee we picked up from Brandywine zoo. This coffee is very smooth and tasty! I could drink a whole pot of this by myself. Ten stars!!

I love stopping at small businesses and coffee shops I’ve never been. I was in the area and did a google search for coffee places and this one came up with great ratings. While the Roastery is an actual building behind the coffee truck, it’s not yet equipped to handle customers inside so the truck serves two purposes: they serve DELICIOUS coffee (hot, iced, espresso etc), as well as serve a variety of whole bean coffees from different countries that benefit Bird Friendly Smithsonian. I love anything that benefits a good cause and Honduras is near and dear to my heart so not only did I get an awesome latte; peppermint mocha I believe, I picked up some whole bean coffee! Highly recommend stopping for some coffee and saying hi. Looking forward to them opening their cafe one day.
