My girlfriend, Nicky, and I visited this lovely shop for the first time today. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and inviting. We had the pleasure of meeting Kirsten, the owner, and enjoyed chatting with her about the tea shop while we relaxed with our drinks and food. I had a Banana Nut Bread iced latte along with a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, while Nicky enjoyed a lemon lavender iced tea and a spinach and egg bagel. Everything was delicious and well worth the modest price. Kirsten and her staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their products, and they offered several options for how our food could be prepared. While waiting, we also enjoyed browsing the beautiful items from local artists that are displayed throughout the shop. It was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back. Support local businesses!
Kind Brew has become my go-to coffee shop since moving to Roanoke a few weeks ago! The owners are absolutely wonderful people, and you can tell that they take pride in their work and community. They offer sooooo many flavors, and many different drink options. Their breakfast sandwiches are good, too. Ask about their passport card, it’s helped me try drinks I’d never have thought to in the past, and each one has so far been uniquely delicious. I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every beverage I’ve had, but the standouts have been the banana bread latte and pink chai latte. Oh and definitely try the dirty sodas, those are some cool drinks! There’s a fun reward too, where you can pick out a free cookbook with every purchase. They feature a number of local artisans’ products for sale in their shop, and it’s super cozy inside with a little fireplace, comfy couch, and the best vibes. Not only the best coffee/beverage shop, but also gift shop and hangout spot!
Quite the cozy small shop that has a lot of wonderful drinks and small snacks. I loved the “dirty sodas” such as the tropical one with orange milk that taste sweet and delicious. The sausage bagel I got was fresh and tasty. I was quite surprised by amount of items, teas, books, crafts, and merchandise they offer too. The employee I met was super friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I would definitely make the trip again to this over Starbucks.
My wife and I moved in the area recently, and Kind Brew came highly recommended by some locals so we decided to check them out. I am very glad we did, because we both got coffee, and it was excellent. My caramel macchiato was smooth and very flavorful without being too sweet, basically perfect. The owners were also super friendly, not only crafting us great beverages, but they also let us ask a ton of questions about the area, including some recommendations for other places to check out. We ended up talking so much that we needed additional beverages for the road, so we both tried a dirty soda, and it was also delicious. 10/10 would recommend Kind Brew. Both the beverages and the staff were phenomenal!
Just wanted to give a shoutout to Kind Brew Coffee & Tea House on Electric Rd Cozy spot, friendly owner, and a great place to support local. If you haven’t checked them out yet, it’s worth stopping by. This is the Lavender Tea latte Btw. I also recommend the Wild Monkey with chocolate iced latte!
