Crema's Take

Tucked away on a second floor, Sarisa Cafe is a charming Thai spot that transforms afternoon tea into an art form, with beautiful in-house made pastries and rice-based desserts you can watch being prepared through the kitchen windows. The weekend afternoon tea set—available by reservation—strikes that perfect balance of elegance and accessibility, pairing excellent traditional Thai sweets with attentive, genuinely warm service that makes you feel genuinely welcomed. It's the kind of place where friends linger for hours and dates feel special, all without breaking the bank.

Thai desserts were so good! Atmosphere 4.7 Service 5 Food 4.7 Didn’t like one item as much. I think it was mung bean. But overall, very delicious. Recommend for a nice date spot.

I had an excellent afternoon tea for two here. I was specifically looking for a place that was reasonably priced and wasn't too filling, and this place was perfect. There was a menu that described each item, although the server also explained everything in detail once the desserts came out, including the best order in which to enjoy them. The desserts were beautiful and delicious — a lot of coconut and pandan flavors which I love — and nothing overly sweet. Everything was arranged adorably on a three-tier stand with enough for each person to try each individual pastry. The ambiance was nice and peaceful. It felt like discovering a hidden gem in the city. The service was also great. I'd definitely come back.

Came here for the afternoon tea. The pastries were so beautiful and taste amazing too! You can see the aunties making them in house through the windows. It’s a perfect place to hangout with friends over cute bites and tea

Cute little Thai cafe on second floor. I got the afternoon tea set which is weekend and reservation only. Menu was absolutely delicious, come hungry since most of the desserts are rice based so I was really full by the end. All the desserts were so pretty and I loved trying new desserts since i haven’t had many Thai ones before. My favorites were the emerald tapioca ball (savory) and the khanom Chan a layered coconut dessert, extremely chewy and delicious. Tea was $35 and most menu a la carte items are ~$10. Def recommend! They also give you a little menu describing everything you get for tea so that was fun for me to reference since I was familiar with any of the desserts.

We had the most lovely experience here. It’s so clear that this cafe is so well loved and cared for by the staff. The staff was so attentive and kind. They explained all the dishes for our afternoon tea and the presentation was stunning. Some of the most beautiful pastries I’ve ever had. It was delicious and well presented. We will definitely be back! Such a hidden gem.
