Crema's Take

This beloved Fredericksburg institution has been winning hearts since 2008 with its pillowy-soft donuts and authentic kolaches, especially the standout sausage and cheese varieties with jalapeños that locals can't resist. The family owners are genuinely generous—regulars rave about unexpected free treats and the warm, unhurried atmosphere that makes it worth the trip even when you have to arrive early before items sell out.

Great kolaches and service! My boyfriend loved his kolache so much he walked right back in to order another one after his first bite in the car. We got a free donut too! Cute local spot!

Good donut holes and kolaches! The service is very friendly. While they don’t offer a military discount like other shops nearby do, the cashier very kindly threw in a few donut holes with the kolaches I ordered. I would suggest going for quick breakfast.

We stopped in at 12 noon but only a couple donuts and apple fritters were left, but they had sausage and cheese kolaches with jalapeno, ham and cheese and sausage kolaches! They were great! And they made us cold brew w/cold foam and frappés.
