Hill Country Donuts & Kolaches

We went here for breakfast. The staff were nice and gave us some free donuts. The donuts were soft and tasty. We ordered the German, sausage & cheese, ham & cheese kolaches. It was good enough for my husband and me. The price is reasonable as well. A must-visit if you are visiting the area.

I have been coming here since about 2008-09 as a kid. The family that owns and runs the donut shop are incredible people who are so generous which gives them such a loyal following. Every time we go they give us free donut holes for the kiddos which they did for us when we were kids. If you are a local or just visiting, please make it as part of your morning stop!

Good donut holes and kolaches! The service is very friendly. While they don’t offer a military discount like other shops nearby do, the cashier very kindly threw in a few donut holes with the kolaches I ordered. I would suggest going for quick breakfast.

We stopped in at 12 noon but only a couple donuts and apple fritters were left, but they had sausage and cheese kolaches with jalapeno, ham and cheese and sausage kolaches! They were great! And they made us cold brew w/cold foam and frappés.

I was trying to find a good place for donuts and I found it. Sweet odins beard this place was so dam good. I have never had donuts this soft and full of flavor. Even after a few days the donuts were still very soft and just as delicious. My kids devoured the pink and blue donuts and I stuffed my face with the cherry filled donut. We also had the kolaches and the regular one were our favorite. It was good cold but once they warmed it up for me the kolache burst into my mouth a whole new flavor. I will never get my donuts from anywhere else when I visit Fredericksburg. Keep up the great work .
