Crema's Take
“Loquat's pastry case is the real draw here—the chocolate babka is legitimately transcendent, and the lemon rosemary tart has enough personality that staff will enthusiastically steer you toward it over whatever you originally planned to order. The cute, ceramics-forward interior makes it an inviting spot to linger, though fair warning that service can be inconsistent and parking in this neighborhood is brutal. If you're willing to hunt for a spot and don't mind uneven execution on the coffee itself, the baked goods alone justify the detour.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, quick-grab spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and pastries on the menu. Parking available.

See all on Google →The chocolate babka was transcendent! I wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the chickpea tarragon bourekas. Parking is a nightmare, as you probably already expect in San Francisco. But the shop is worth it - so cute and welcoming. The staff behind the counter were lovely.

I ordered an array of desserts. Each one better than the last. Highly recommend the rosemary lemon curd tart, pistachio butter cookie, and mahlab. We had ours to go but while there the staff was very friendly.
A charming bakery with a stunning selection of cakes, sweets, and savory items. The interior is uniquely designed and incredibly cute, with beautiful ceramics used for serving—every plate and cup feels thoughtfully chosen and adds to the experience. We opted for the mushroom…
