Crema's Take

O Cafe's real draw is their exceptional in-house baked goods—think lemon almond polenta cake and year-round gingerbread that rival the coffee itself—paired with a warm Brazilian hospitality that makes the space feel like a neighborhood living room. The organic coffee and specialty drinks are solid, though service can be inconsistent, and if you're planning to work, know that wifi and outlets are more of an afterthought here. Come for the pastries and the vibe, stay for the Pão de Queijo and a proper cappuccino.

Super homey place with yummy hearty food! Loved their chai. No wifi and defective outlets however so only somewhat WFH friendly:)

Disappointing. While the ambiance is nice, the staff messed up my order and doubted me when I expressed their error. My açai bowl was ice cold, hurting my teeth and impossible for me to eat. Regretting the 20% tip. Coffee was good, so maybe worth it for a to-go order.

Warm, welcoming Brazilian café with superb coffee, unique drinks, and a standout menu of both sweet and savory options—don’t miss the year-round gingerbread. Beautiful space, great seating, and a relaxed, vibrant vibe that brings a refreshing Brazilian sensibility to Manhattan.
