Crema's Take

Martha & Bros Coffee Company feels like the kind of neighborhood spot where the owner actually knows your name and cares if you're having a good day—Martha herself has earned a reputation as genuinely sweet, and that warmth carries through to a staff that's consistently described as cheery and eager to get your order right. The espresso is legitimately good (the kind that tastes like actual coffee), and they've mastered the art of pairing it with excellent pastries, from donuts and empanadas to breakfast sandwiches, so whether you're grabbing a quick churro latte or settling in with your laptop for hours, there's something that hits. It's vibrant without being pretentious, bustling without feeling rushed—exactly the kind of place that becomes a local's daily ritual.

The coffee was halfway decent but the staff was unhelpful & rude. I ordered a churro latte and they left it on the counter without calling out the order so I sat there for almost 10 minutes without any idea my drink was ready. When I asked the staff if this was my drink, I got the stink eye for it. Terrible customer service, there are much better places around Noe Valley.

The most energizing local vibe. Food and coffee: great coffee and great food both healthy fresh and delicious. They are super fast and so cheery and want to give you the best experience. It’s no wonder so many people gather here in the mornings. Everyone is smiling in here. I feel like I’m back in Jersey but minus the attitude. I get so excited to come by in the morning and get food for the day.

Amazing coffee, breakfast sandwiches, cheese cake, you name it! Staff is always friendly and Martha is probably the sweetest woman you will ever meet!

a cozy neighborhood spot — nothing fancy, just good vibes. Locals hang out with laptops or friends, sipping fresh coffee that actually tastes like coffee. The donuts and empanadas are legit, and there’s plenty of space to sit, which is rare in SF. Feels like the kind of place where you can lose track of time without feeling rushed.

A very nice coffee shop in San Francisco downtown. They have some nice coffees, cakes, cookies, doughnuts, bakery and Pattiseries. Seating is nice . The cafe is quite vibrant and buzzing. We tried a cake and it was good.
