La La Land

I have been a loyal La La Land Kind Cafe customer since the brand first opened in the DFW area. I have visited multiple locations and have consistently appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and overall experience, which is why this visit felt especially disappointing. This was by far the poorest experience I have had at any La La Land location. I have visited several other stores and never encountered anything like this. Even this location felt very different when it first opened. When I walked up to the counter to place my order, a staff member simply stared at me without saying anything. Even after I said “Hi” first, there was no response. After placing my order, I waited more than ten minutes for my drink. The store was not busy, and there appeared to be enough staff present, which made the situation feel more concerning from an operational standpoint. I normally add a tip even for to go orders out of habit and appreciation, but receiving this level of service honestly made me question that decision. Of course, part of the appeal of visiting La La Land is the extremely cute cups, lids, straws, napkins, and overall aesthetic details. However, beyond the fancy packaging and stylish interiors, what truly brings people back is the unique La La Land Kind Cafe vibe, the energetic, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere that sets the brand apart. I hope that core feeling is not forgotten. This experience felt unusually out of alignment with the standards I have come to expect from the brand. I have always respected La La Land Kind Cafe’s positive brand image and social mission, which is why this was particularly surprising. As a long time customer who has supported the brand across multiple locations, I hope this experience is treated as an exception rather than a new standard.

Athena, Scarlet, and Joseph are amazing. Very welcoming customer service. Helpful with recommendations and definitely put in the extra effort, rather than treating it like a regular 9-5 Amazing drinks, amazing pastries, and the best customer service. 100% my favorite La La Land. I highly recommend visiting this location!

Angel is the best barista! He is so sweet and has the best customer service! Lots of good recommendations and is really funny! He made my day! As usual I got my banana cloud latte and it’s a dream! The store is beautiful and inviting! I can’t wait to be back!

Johnny is awesome! He made nice conversation with me and had an appropriate level of enthusiasm. You know how people be doing too much some times? Not him hahaha and Olin has hooked me up when I come in sometimes too!! I love this la la land. DELICIOUS treats , drinks made perfectly every time and if it’s not they’re happy to fix it. Starbs could never! Lala crosses the good drinks with the good hospitality too. And this specific location I’ve noticed has nicer people than the others I’ve been to in Dallas. Love my lala! 😍😍

I had such a great experience at the La La Land Coffee Shop in Addison, Texas! The shop was very nice, clean, and had such a fresh and welcoming vibe. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and made me feel comfortable. A special shoutout to Amina—she was super sweet and so accommodating, which really made my visit even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
