Crema's Take

Housed in a historic gas station turned community gathering spot, Skull Valley Station blends excellent specialty coffee and refreshingly creative pastries (their banana bread is legendary) with local products and a genuinely warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The owner's passion for turning this backroad landmark into something special really shines through, whether you're stopping for a beautifully crafted iced chai, exploring their locally sourced offerings, or just soaking in the quirky, nostalgic charm of the place.

What a fun little place they have turned this into! We stopped in to check it out and had an iced chai. It was delicious!! Love all of the decor. They also offer frozen meat that is locally raised. What a great stop in this one horse town!.

Was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a coffee shop. Friendly staff, great coffee with lots of options, and an adorable atmosphere with all kinds of fun locally made products and chotchkes from candles to jam for sale. Was just passing through going from Prescott to San Diego, but would definitely be worth a trip out to just grab some coffee and hang out in Skull Valley for a few hours on a weekend.

What a hidden gem! We stopped by The Forge in Skull Valley and loved it so much we came back the very next day for lunch. Hands down the best banana bread I’ve ever had — fresh, moist, and full of flavor. The coffee is excellent, and the kind of cup you want to linger over. The service couldn’t have been friendlier — warm smiles, and genuine hospitality that makes you feel like part of the community. The whole place has this authentic Western vibe, with rustic charm and an atmosphere that’s both cozy and unique. If you’re anywhere near Skull Valley, make the detour. Places like this are rare, and it’s absolutely worth it.

Nice little pitstop for all passing thru or even for the locals. Nice historic spot, used to be gas station with vehicles services. Now a place for hotdogs, chilidogs, soft serve ice cream(vanilla, chocolate, swirl), cold drinks(soda, tea, etc) trinkets, souvenirs, shirts, hats & more. I can tell ya, I never had a hotdog bun quite like this. Fresh & warm. I'll definitely be back for that bun. Soft serve ice cream that just takes ya back, back to good ol days. This is one of those places many people miss as they are passing thru, definitely a place to stop, take a lil break, grab a bite, you'll love the bun. The staff was just great. Answered all my questions as I'm a close neighbor living not too far from here. Seating is great. Inside and outside. They have a neat seating area inside what used to be the garage. (2) Bathrooms one inside and one outside in the old garaged spaced area. Very cool decor and setup. Loved the vibe. Definitely be back.

Finally the Skull Valley Station rises again....a great stop on your Arizona back-road travels. The owner is super-friendly and they have just begun deciding what foods to carry. This is not a bakery or Starbucks substitute - it's trying to figure out what it is! Their Skull Valley brand clothing line is the winner and the outdoor, covered garage picnic tables look ready for warm weather action.
